During«Kidsgiving 2015,» my sisters returned from a day in downtown raving about The Blvd and their great jeans selection and even better pricing. I was a little skeptical, as most boutiques in the downtown area tend to be on the pricey side. However, today after the Bend Christmas Parade I was ambling through downtown and while walking past The Blvd, decided to check it out. Now, I am not a girlie girl when it comes to clothes shopping — I have to be in the right mood, and having lived in Oregon for so long, I tend to fall into our traditional local uniform of hoodies, puffy jackets, and boots. I was very happy with the whole shopping experience. Greeted quickly after coming in, and when I mentioned I was looking for jeans, was given a quick tour of all their styles, sizing and options. When I explained my body type’s particular challenges when it comes to fit, the clerk(whom I later found out is one of the owner’s) quickly did a round of the store and came back with 5 pairs of jeans in my preferred style and color! I also found some lovely scarves, sweaters and layering tops to try on. A lot of their items tend to have a bit more bedazzling and bling than I personally prefer, but there iare definitely options for those of us with more basic clothing palates. Also, I appreciated that they had clothing in larger sizes — jeans up to size 34 and 3x in tops. The prices are really reasonable for the quality of clothes, I can’t believe I walked out of there with 5 items for under $ 100! Blvd offers a punch card deal, has some great sales, and also a small selection of mens clothes. It’s worth a stop in here on your next tour of beautiful downtown Bend.

They only do returns for store credit or exchange. That’s enough to loose my business for good! I bought a pair of pants and was told if I leave the tags on I could return them(they seemed like they might stretch a lot). I brought them back the next day hoping to exchange for the next size down. They didn’t have the next size so now they have my money and I have nothing. Yay.
