Fabulous customer service. The Batista was super personable and funny. She went above and beyond by offering to make me a custom sandwich since I wasn’t fond of their menu. I opted for a bagel and cream cheese instead. Sadly the bagel was hard as a rock and lacked flavor. The peanut butter short bread was tasty though. I’ll go back but will try something else.

Cute coffe shop in a super cute neighborhood. It is small inside with a few tables if you want to hang out, but I personally would not want to hang around if it was too busy, more of a grab and go kind of shop. The coffee was good, I had an iced coffee and it was nice and strong, just they way it should be! They also have a small menu of sandwiches, salads, soups and baked goodies. Another bonus, they have bottled beer from a few of the local breweries, winning! The baristas were very nice and service was quick and efficient. Would grab coffee here again if I was in the neighborhood, food, not sure it didn’t really sell me and there are sooooo many good places to eat in Bend, perhaps if I was crazy hungry.

Popped in today for the first time for a quick lunch. Ambiance: Very much a feeling of mom and pop. Cozy. Seating at a handful of closely spaced small tables with wood chairs. Welcoming proprietor. Smells good. Attractive display case of options and blackboards naming others. Food: Pluses are soup from Soupçon — always great soup from that source, some home baked items, like cookies, including a few gluten free options, and a good selection of salads, deli items(like mac n cheese, individual pizzas or enchiladas) and sandwiches for a eat in or take and go meal. Choosing a couple of salads we found the chicken salad under seasoned, although nice and cold and the dressing on the other salad to taste as if it was made with canola oil. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, per the old Seinfeld punchline, but a good olive oil would be better for our palates. Coffee wasn’t bad for flavor, but it was from an air pump pot and not particularly hot. This is definitely not a place we’d seek out for the coffee. Decent prices, as example half sandwich and soup special was about six bucks. Bottom line: Not necessarily destination dining. Nothing remarkable for«wow» factor, but a good decent AOK if you’re in the neighborhood. We’d go back.

ok here is the deal. this really is a great little café; the sandwiches are good, baked goods are great. the soups are wonderful, basically everything is great, except… THECOFFEE! ugh! it is horrible. damn bellatazza gross bitter acidic coffee! don’t get the coffee. it is bad if you get the drip, it is bad if you get the barista made espresso drinks, just don’t do it. get anything else, everything else! say no to the coffee.
