Timberline Mountain Guides

I did a Mount Hood Summit climb program with TMG. I meet several guides and office staff that all displayed great professionalism and skill. My climb began at 1:00 am and I was doing great up till about 10,200 ft. I became sick and had to turn back about 4:30. The 3 guides never judged or pushed me to «Not let the group down». Even though I was VERY disappointed to not summit the guide gave me encouragement to try again and never made me feel like a loser. My guide on the way down, Brian was great. I think they run a quality program and deserve 5 stars.

A truly top notch organization. I took a 3 day course with them, 2 days of skills class and the third day we climbed and summitted Mt. Hood. Our guide, Rodney was the epitome of professionalism with an impressive depth and breadth of knowledge and was very patient in teaching and fielding my «newbie» questions and gaffs. I came into the course with no mountaineering experience and leave looking forward to the next trip. On the day we climbed, the owner Pete did the same climb with his 11 year old son for the first time. From the top down, everyone I met in this organization clearly loved what they were doing and had both the skills and knowledge to get people to the summit safely. I highly, highly recommend this company for any of their mountaineering and/​or rock climbing trips.
