I have no clue what these bad reviews are about! The service was absolutely excellent and efficient and they were able to fix my mom’s glasses in fifteen minutes when SEVEN other places we called all told us they couldn’t do anything for us. We are from out of town(Los Angeles) and didn’t know what to expect from this place but were surprised happily with outstanding service. The people could not have been nicer. Absolutely wonderful place. Five stars, if not more! Thank you for the great service.

I have never have written a review here for any kind of service, let alone a bad one but Dr. Guiley(spelling might be a little off) is one of the most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with. I was there to help my little brother get prescribed some glasses and he rudely asked me to leave the room because I was texting.

I can’t believe a place like this is still open in Bend. I had been meaning to write a bad review for this place and their doctor, so here it is. I moved to Bend last year and needed a new prescription for contact lenses, this place had an appointment open the next day(now I know why). Sitting in the waiting area, the women seemed very unprofessional and focused on making the biggest dollar from their patients and sales. I can overlook all that, but the doctor was the real sham. He basically took my previous contact prescription and barely did any exam. I told him I had concerns about high pressure in my eyes from past exams and asked if he could dilate my eyes to check it out, which has ALWAYSBEENPARTOFPASTEXAMS. He said«dilation will be $ 20 more.» It was the most tacky experience from an eye doctor that I have ever experienced. I feel bad paying them for their half assed exam. Then they tried nailing me for more contacts than I wanted. Next exam I will take my business to a competent doctor. Avoid this place so it rightfully goes out of business. Sorry if that’s harsh, but don’t dick your patients around.

I have never been so disappointed with ANY business here in Bend. I needed to get in immediately as I was surpriswd by my fiancé with a trip. No place in town could get me in the same day other than vision works.(which in hindsight should’ve told me something) I have very sensitive eyes and the dr who so me was such a jerk. My eyes kept watering and he was very impatient with me saying, «if you keep this up, we’ll be here all day.» I also noticed that the dr did not wipe down anything to clean it which really doesn’t sit well with me. Then he gave me the wrong brand of contacts and got mad at me for it because he had to use a new pair. Then the dr told me because I’d had these kind of contacts before that I wouldn’t have to come in for a follow up, so I called a month later to get my prescription and then was told I needed to come in for a follow up. I said the dr had said that I didn’t but the receptionist decided to be rude and tell me no I have to come back in. At this point I refused to come back in and would rather spend the money to get a new contact prescription with a different doctor. I have never been so uncomfortable in any Drs office such as I have been here. Will NOT recommend this office!

Visionworks in Bend, Oregon does not fit with the friendly«small town» feel of the rest of Bend. I have had several experiences that just made me wonder how they stay in business with such horrible customer service policies. Most recently, I bought a «buy one get one» for a glasses special, but my daughter was unable to come down for her pair within the 30 days. They made NO effort to rectify the situation and I just had to eat the loss. Unfortunate, since it’s something that I ALREADYPAIDFOR, and it wasn’t cheap, either. No loss to them to give it to me after the«cut-off». And no discussion to be had, either. Just, «nope, sorry». Poor form, Visionworks. Poor form.
