Our son loves this place. He always looks forward to visiting whenever we are in Bend. This last visit, he was invited to join a group of young folks playing Pokemon the next morning. They loaned him some cards and had older teenagers provide instructions on how to play the game. Our son had a great time. The staff were very friendly. A nice little store with a community spirit.

A fun shop that’s not of the local-​Bend flare. This place has a bunch of neat Japanese knick knacks, snacks, clothing, and so on. But like many Japanese import stores, it can be spendy! I haven’t personally bought anything from here, but it’s still fun to stop in and the staff are friendly (:

Great little store filled with fun Japanese toys & gifts. Come in for the crazy flavored Japanese sodas as well. The owner is super nice & it feels good to buy something from her.

Great store! I love this place, most of the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about animé and manga. This store always does a great job at stocking new items from a variety of shows, games, and pop culture.
I think it’s cute that they offer Pokemon events for the kids in town! I wish I could work there! The only negative is that I wish they were bigger! If you are visiting bend you must go in and check it out– and if you are lucky you can pet one of the 2 store kitties hanging out!

Stumbled into this store in «downtown» bend.
Lots of cute things to buy, presents to obtain, weird and fun stuff to own or gift!
Staff is young and friendly.
Definitely a place to enjoy what there is, browse and more!

My grandmother is Japanese, my husband makes sushi, my daughter loves Japanese toys, I love Japanese ceramics, this place works for us. Everything from Japanese candy, Japanese soda, toys, rice vinegar, and so many other fun things. I always shop here when I am in Bend. And service is great.

By far my FAVORITE store in Bend! Convenient location and every staff member is extremely friendly and knowledgable! I can get the most amazing and unique gifts here and they are very reasonably priced. They also have events like how to take care of your wig or competitions for the best diorama. I need at least an hour to shop there when I go.
They also have a shop cat. That alone makes them better than everywhere else.

i cannot even express how excited i was when i ran into wabi sabi when i was last visiting bend. my only complaint is «why did it take so long?» i had been starving for something as stimulating as wabi sabi the whole time i was living in bend, and it emerges as soon as i leave? in any even this store has everything miyazake to unique gifts and knick knacks that you would be pressed to find anywhere inside of the 541 area code. check em out, you will not be disappointed.
