I love to explore bead stores for new finds & inspiration. Sadly, this one was lacking. The woman behind the counter seemed sort of annoyed I was there, (I was the only customer & she was working on her own project) but whatever. The items along the walls, well, many seemed old & dusty, and the prices were higher than other Bay Area stores. They’d do well with a deep cleaning & some reorganization, as it just smells… old. Like an antique store. They did have some WAY overpriced vintage brooches & things, but they were super dusty. Many strands had CLEARLY been there for years, and didn’t even say what they were.
I was hoping this shop would be a new hidden treasure, but I won’t be back.

terrific location, opportunity to check out an area in the bay area I never spend time in. Huge selection of beads and surprisingly well organized. Gal who works there, I think the owner was super helpful with suggestions and digging out any requests I threw out to her. Worth the drive out to check this place out. I will be in again.

Love the bead shop in town! They have a ridiculously large selection of all types of beads, but they also carry jewelry from lots of different artists, including the shop owner’s son who uses old silver spoons to make the most beautiful bracelets. Last time I was in I bought one and get compliments on it all the time!

This store has a very nice selection of beads and beautiful things. Be care though. The markup may not worth it. 60 dollars for plastic magnifying goggles. I’ve never seen them priced more than 40.

As a lifelong resident of Benicia I really want to support local businesses, even knowing that costs might be higher than larger chain stores. I stopped in to make a large purchase for upcoming holiday gifts. Despite the store being completely empty– the lady behind the counter completely ignored my presence. I tried making small talk but seemed to irritate her further. I did make a large and costly purchase, but it will be a one time occurrence. I will not be back.

Half Moon Bay, CA
I recently visited the bead store from Half Moon Bay. I love the way that we were greeted when we entered the store. There is so much to play around with in this store. The staff is awesome because they kept sharing ideas and products with me that in a million years I wouldn’t have found on my own. I loved that!!! For me customer service is what makes me shop in a store. I went specially to find Kumihimi supples which I found more than expected.
Can’t wait to return to the store. Even my husband enjoyed the store.

I am so happy I found this place! I cannot even explain how refreshing it was to find a great bead store with such nice & helpful people working there. Definitely a great change in the scenery ;) I will certainly be making the extra 20 minute drive to support this shop!
