Round Table Pizza

I went in today just to get a salad and a soda around 3:45 (slow hours). Often when I come in at slower hours, I feel it’s a ghost town and it can sometimes be a bit before someone notices or is able to help (really not a big deal, I don’t mind waiting a couple minutes). But today, the guy working the cash register was super friendly and attentive! He had a good attitude and it was nice to have such good customer service, even if all I needed was a $ 4 salad. Thanks round table for putting a smile on my face today!

Not good and will not be back … Service was horrible, they had the opportunity to correct their mistake however did not and doubt that option crossed the owner’s mind?

I asked for Original crust. Been eating round table my entire life now 43. It is paper thin now. Has no sauce I confronted the manager about it and he was extremely rude toward me. They’ve cut corners to the point where I’ll never go back. What a joke! They deserve 0 stars.

This place really needs to get it together. Called in an order for a slice that is advertised as ready during lunch hours and told they have cheese and pepperoni. They even took my name and said it would be in the warmer. I walk in less than 2 minutes later and there is no record of my order and they have no slices ready. I’m told about 10 – 15 minutes. When you have a 10 minute break and call your order in for convenience this doesn’t work. You guys should not advertise the ready slices since they are hardly ever ready and work in communication. This isn’t the first time this has happened and probably won’t be the last.

This used to be my go to pizza place only with coupons of course, even though it’s pricer than every other place in town. Also you pay extra for delivery, in the last year they stopped taking deliveries after 9:15, although they don’t close until 10pm. Before that it was 9:30, and you just have to know this. the pizza was always good, but not good enough to put up with poor customer service. The reason they lost me as a customer is, the last time that I started calling for delivery at 9pm, well before their most recent delivery cut off time. After letting phone ring for 15min, someone picked up only to hang up. After that I was done, and I have not gone back since it happened last December.

I am adding to my below review because I just downloaded Pizza Pirate’s app & was able to order online with them! See ya, Round Table! You just lost a customer because you can’t keep up with technology! From someone who orders pizza once a week, I would say this is a huge loss for you and a huge gain for Pizza Pirate.

Why is the online ordering never turned on anymore?! I’ve only been able to do that twice since it began and it was WONDERFUL because I knew my order would come out exactly the way I ordered it. (Maybe not finished at the time I was quoted, but that wasn’t a huge issue for me…) Since then, I have to call in my order, like I used to, and cross my fingers it would be right. One time, we ordered the Maui Zowie and instead of checking the pizza (which they should do EVERY TIME), I was given a bacon-​less pizza. Thank goodness we live so close because I drove back to make sure I got my bacon! This last time I went to pick up my phone order, I said, «hey your online ordering hasn’t worked the last few times I’ve tried to use it…» I was told «oh, we didn’t turn it on.» Well, what the HELL people. Get me all excited over online ordering and take it away because the staff is lazy. Either that or they can’t get the pizzas out in the time people are quoted, so maybe that’s why? Hmm.

The worst service in town. Good pizza, but they can’t count. 3 weeks in a row I got my order with things missing. I think they should drug test and stop hiring high school drop outs. Go to Mountain mikes. I’ll never spend my money here again.

Tried the online order feature and failed. I ordered 3 16″ specialty pizzas. I ordered pizza at 6:37 PM and was notified it would be done at 7:11 PM. Our pizzas were not done until 830pm.

I love round table. They always make some good pizza. It is probably my favorite corporate chain pizza spot.
I have ordered apps, pizza, salads, sammies. so much and im always happy. First time i ordered from this location and wow was i upset. I usually get the garlic cheese bread which im not going to lie. was still on point which is why i am ok giving this place a 1 star, if you could give zeros i would but the bread was yummy as usual.
The problem, i ordered a large skinny ½ extra cheese ½ pepperoni. The pizza came burnt. and i dont mean slightly extra crispy. IT looked burnt.
Pizza sometimes can have mishaps. but this suggest the staff made the pizza, saw it was overcooked, and sent it out for delivery anyways, and that is not ok. That is poor management because you cant always quality check, but some random checks should be done when pizza is sent out.
I mean, you burn the pizza, remake it, dont send it out. i rather wait an extra 15 then get horrible burnt pizza that is black on 20%, and dehydrated from overcooking.
Please get your spot in check Benicia, cause RTP is better than this.

I come here for lunch with my children’s they prices are good and always a hot pizza. They don’t have a buffet which sucks or any coupons you might get they in the mail once every two months.

A consistently good pizza joint is hard to find in this town but these guys are pretty good! Service is also good! A bit pricy than the pizza hut and dominos, but you’ll know where that extra money went when you eat here.

Wow I ordered a large pizza and wow the pizza dough was really under cooked. I said something to the the teens up front and they act like they didn’t even care so I just left.

Been eating at round table for 40 years and at this one for around 15. The pizza is always good too (ha ha, you can tell I like round table). My only complaint is the owner is a rude jack ass. Like I said, been going here for 15 years and he has been a snotty condescending little punk for all 15. Good pizza though. It gets 2 stars for the owner.

Rude staff. I will stick to pizza pirate when getting pizza in Benicia. Pizza pirate is cheaper and better.

Pizza was good but unfortunately, our bread sticks were burned and the wait was way longer than 25 minutes. Not impressed.

This location is very difficult to do business with. I wanted to do online ordering to use a $ 5.00 off coupon. (Turns out it is the only location that does not offer online order). Okay, so I call my order in. When they answer the phone, they say Round Table Pizza can you hold, and then without hesitation, place you on hold. Why ask me if you are just going to put me on hold anyway? THEN when they do go to pick up the call they disconnected me. It happened 3 times! When I finally get through, I ask if they will honor the coupon since they don’t offer online ordering. Placed on hold again, to find out that no they don’t have online ordering. Yeah, I got that. but will you honor the coupon because you don’t…No.
Okay, nevermind, it just isn’t worth it.

Round Table is normally my favorite of the pizza chains. However, the customer service and quality control at this location are extremely lacking. I have eaten here a few times because it is literally located next door to me.
One time I tried to call but the phone seem to be disconnected. I have had under cooked pizza and I have had over cooked pizza. I have gotten pizzas that are lacking half of their ingredients and I have been put on hold for ten minutes only to be hung up on. After the last order when the garlic twists were burnt and the pizza was poorly made it will be my last time trying this location. I would rather just spend the time it takes to travel to a better pizza place or pay to have someone else deliver.

I will fight anyone that does not think this pizza is fantastic!
I don’t care that its a chain, its better than 80% of the pizza places out there! That being said, I am a lifelong lover of Round Table. From their traditional pepperoni pizza, to their salad bar, I love it all!
Simple, yes! Tasty, yes! Pricey, can be! I’m a fan, yes! Baller-​on-​a-​budget, if you can find a coupon!
Order the Chicken Garlic Gourmet pizza and you’ll forever be grateful — chicken, veggies, white garlic cream sauce, and their yummy crust — its heavenly!
Breadsticks — dangerously good carbs that disappear in seconds. I guess they are actually twists, with lots of garlic and some cheese melted on top. Dippers delight with ranch, (I) skip the marinara sauce.
Salad bar pro’s! Lots of options from veggies to fruits, average about 5 salad dressings! They get an A+ for having those crispy noodles to top the salad, those are a rare find these days!
Good for everything — quick lunch, big parties, soccer banquets, to-​go, family nights — it satisfies all facets of any ones life!
