The Bennett King Soopers has the most friendly staff. Some days are better than others but I’ve never encountered a rude or otherwise unhelpful employee at this location. We shop there nearly every week. I’ve felt they are pretty well staffed based on the business needs. It’s very common for employees to ask if you are finding everything Okay and acknowledging you, and most are willing to go above and beyond the call of duty. Most of the employees seem very happy to be at work. We’re a little needy about wanting certain items that aren’t normally stocked at that store. Even though we aren’t able to have it that same day, the store will allow us to special order it, call us and let us know when it is in. For as much as I love this store some of the other reviewers have it right about the store not stocking items. It’s pretty often when there are holes on the shelves for the more common items that people purchase. The most has been 4 common items on a single shopping trip but normally at least 1. The dairy section can look pretty bare sometimes and there is normally other grocery items sitting on pallets in the store isle ways waiting to be placed during the busy shopping periods of the day. So all in all this store seems to get it right with customer service and willingness to help but needs some work when it comes to keeping the store shelves stocked, especially with commonly purchased items.

This is a small King Soopers and shelves are not always well stocked. Also, they don’t have checkers working early in the morning. So good luck if you like to do your grocery shopping early. If you do, be prepared for the frustration of trying to use the self check with a cart full of groceries. Aaaaarrrrrrggghhhh!

Store much better now. Always have baggers and not as much stocking blocking the aisles. The only bad thing lately is no carts. Have to go back outside to get one. Friendly employees.

My Girlfriend and I walked from Loves Truck Stop to King Soopers, which is directly across the street. We wanted to check it out, I will say this, I will no longer shop at Wal Mart for groceries, especially the one in Stapleton! Mark in the Deli was such a pleasant individual to talk to, of course while he was helping us out. Great Store with Great People! You have my business!

Just passing through and walked in to get some quick cash. All the employees I encountered were very personable and attentive. The store was well stocked and clean. Love Colorado!

My favorite grocery store in the greater Denver area! It’s not packed, so you can shop without feeling the frenzy that you do in town. The selection is good and the layout makes sense. A couple things to point out: You rarely have to wait in line for check-out. And if the lanes are busy, there is usually always an empty spot or two at the self-check-out stations. There are two Red Boxes at the front of the store, but you’ll almost always have to wait in line for these. Red Box must be popular in Bennett. Service is great! At most King Soopers in Denver, I end up bagging my own groceries, but someone always rushes over to bag when I’m at the Bennett King Soopers. They are friendly and strike up a conversation too.

Coming from the east along I-70 this is the first large(full-service) grocery store since Kansas City. It was even nicer when we were welcomed by a friendly and very helpful staff. Very clean and well stocked store just outside Denver.

This is the best kings in colorado its not dirty and still looks brand new. Its open 24⁄7 and that sweet when your out late. There are also some down sides the service is the worst you can almost never get some thing at the coustermer service desk, but that aside its still the best thing that ever happen to bennett.

Didn’t actually go inside, but we did get gas here, and it was cheaper than the other two places in the area, Love’s and Conoco. For just gas, go here, for a full stop, would recommend Love’s.

I’m not reviewing this store as a grocery, but as a highway fuel stop. I guess a bit of explanation is in order. I volunteer for an animal rescue group. About every four to six weeks my turn to drive the transport van to central Kansas comes up. In order to get back to Denver with our rescued critters at a reasonable hour we have to get on the road very early. Ever try to fill a gas tank, get coffee and breakfast, and hit the road when the rest of the city is on their way to work and trying to do the same thing? Twenty miles east of Denver is the sleepy little town of Bennett, with this full size, full service King Soopers grocery store. So instead of fighting the the lines in Denver this is where we get ready for our long drive. Fuel pumps, a bakery, fresh fruit, and even a Starbucks. Twenty minutes after we pull off I-70 we’re eastbound and down, with a full gas tank, fresh coffee, and a muffin or two. By the way, I’ve never found the staff anything but friendly, happy and helpful. Contrary to what the previous reviewer says, there are no a**holes at this store.

I only shop here because it’s the only grocery store in town. Usually, I’ll drive into Brighton to shop at the King Sooper’s there because they aren’t assholes. This King Sooper’s is always clean and well stocked. Some things seem overpriced, which I don’t understand. As a small example, I buy a specific brand of smoked Gouda cheese. In Brighton, it’s about $ 6.00. At this store, it’s $ 10.99 for the same brand, same amount. I guess that’s rural life for you. There produce is also not very good. I realize that it must take much longer to deliver produce to this store, but it seems like much of their produce is far too ripe and just doesn’t seem to be that great of quality. I’ve spoken with neighbors in my area and they told me never to buy produce from here, before I had even had the chance to shop there! That’s not a good sign! My biggest problem with this store is that the employees are the rudest bunch I’ve ever encountered. They always look and act pissed off. They take their sweet time asking if they can help you and when they do ask if you need help, they ask in an extremely rude and disrespectful way. They never say anything nicely, never say«thanks for coming in» or «have a good day» — things you’d expect from people in a rural community. The deli counter seems to have the worst of the worst. Basically, they treat their customers like crap. This store has the worst — WORST — customer service of any store I’ve been to. There is, however, a diamond in the rough. There is a woman that works there named Shanice and she is the only friendly person in the store. She is sweet, kind, helpful and very friendly every time we’re there. I feel sorry for her that she has to work in such a hostile environment. And anytime I have the unpleasant task of shopping at this miserable store, I look for her face and it makes the experience slightly more bearable. The store is big. The store is well stocked. The store is clean. But the employees lack personality and have customer service skills that are so poor, I’d rather drive 45 minutes away to the store in Brighton where it seems superior customer service is a top priority.

Who would have thought that Eastern Colorado would have such a nice King Soopers in such a small town? The store is clean, friendly and has everything that you would expect for a King Soopers(a newer King Soopers that is, not the old ones that are not as nice and it is not because they are just old) that would be in a city. Definitely the place to go for all of the little town that are in this area! I will keep this place in mind when I am traveling through Eastern Colorado again because I thought Bennet had no store like this to offer!

This place is on the higher grade for king soopers, I think mostly because its newer. Its large and clean, with all the other ordinaries that come with soopers. Now its no location like the one off Yosemite with its fancy sushi bar, but I doubt the people out this way care. The employees are very polite and helpful, I also was pleased and very surprised by the large vegetarian frozen foods section considering once again this is a location primarily for the eastern towns, Not exactly a vegetarian hot spot.
