Like the other reviewer stated, very dubious shop. Here’s my story; So I needed to have a front axle changed on my 2010 Prius & someone told me these guys were or used to work as grease monkeys @ a Toyota dealership & were Toyota experts, so I thought I’d give them a call. So I call them for a price on doing the job & talked to Harry. I told him the problem & he told me to hold on while he checked on the part avail. He gets back to me in a minute & says that there are no after market parts avail so he’ll have to get it @ the dealer, cost about $ 600.00 to me, his cost from the dealer about $ 300.00. OK, so I ask him how much to put it on & he tells me I’m looking at about $ 1000.00 for the part & labor, so I say OK, I’ll get back to you. Like hell I will! Anyway I tried a few other shops & got the same con on the part but nothing like what Harry quoted me on labor! So this problem is sort of a gradual thing that USUALLY doesn’t require immediate action so I get online & find in New Jersey & go through there menu & find my new part for like $ 65.00&NOT the $ 600.00 Harry quoted me. So the part comes in 2 days, shipping cost UPS $ 8.99. Now as luck would have it, I asked a few people I know if they knew a good HONEST mechanic that worked on Toys & got the name of a Vietnamese mechanic on Ames. So I call him & ask how much to change the axle & he say $ 50.00. Yes that’s Not a typo, Not $ 500.00 but $ 50.00. Actually I’ve done the job myself a few times on other cars & it took me about an hour without power tools but I’m older now & have a bad back. So I take it to the guy w my wife following me to bring me back while he fixes it & he tells me no need to come back, I’ll fix it right now. I almost fall over! Anyway this guy has power tools & in about 20 mins. he’s done the job & the car is running GREAT! Just why is it that there are so many LOWLIFECROOKS in the trades???

Not sure if this place still sells cars or only fixes them, but I bought a used vehicle from them a couple years ago and it turned out to have all sorts of problems. One mechanic who was fixing problems on the car(problwms that existed before I bought it and shouldve been known by the dealer) told me that they get a lot of customers who bought cars from this place. Apparently, this place buys vehicles with all sorts of problems, fixes the exterior to look fancy, and sells it as if nothing is wrong. Very shady car dealer.

I am new to Omaha(military) and found these guys online(car talk website). I have a 1987 land cruiser and it needs some TLC from time to time. I took it in for a slight fuel smell in the truck. They told me that they couldn’t find an obvious leak, so they would just be guessing on fixing it. Love the honesty! Still have the smell and I might invest in fixing it at some point. But at least I know what I am getting into.

Great honest service. They also sell used cars. I was happy with the one I bought. Got what I paid for and was told what to expect.
