Go at your own risk. I had signed 2 of my children up here a few years ago. They wanted payment up front which I gave them. I also had a contract. Then I went over to the school one time and it was closed. They claimed it was Flag Day, a holiday, and I did not get a makeup class or my money back. Then they just called and said the teacher was in Atlantic City and class was cancelled. The owner is a musical prodigy but he breaches the contract he forces you to sign. I sent a demand letter asking for a refund for all of the cancelled classes. They did not return the money. I have been meaning to post this sooner, but I had hope they would give me my money back. I am not one to go on here to complain typically, but maybe this will help someone else.

I am disappointed to be writing this review. My child attended«voice» lessons for one year. You are initially sold on a contract for 12 months. Our contract as now ended and I will not be going back. I also recommend that others to do not get involved here. First the music portion — we opted for voice lessons and the instructor was very nice and did spend time explaining to my child how to sing one specific song at a time. Once a song was learned they moved to another song. They didn’t learn anything about reading music, about pitch or anything that could ultimately help sing any song chosen. That was livable. Not what I expected from a «school of music» but at least it seemed to be enjoyable and was sparking an interest in music. However at the end of the year long contract, interest in continuing on had dwindled and seemed like new interests were more exciting. OK, fine. This is where I begin to feel that I got ripped off and the reason that I recommend not signing that contract. The contract states that you must give 30 day written notice to end the contact despite it having specific terms and dates. Now I admit I didn’t pull the contract out one time after we signed up and I suppose that was my ignorance. However one policy states that if you miss a lesson but give two weeks prior notification then your term will extend. I did this once and did receive an email stating that my contract would extend until one week later than the initial terms. Basically what happens is they lock you in a contact, don’t remind you of the terms and then when you opt out — after being charged for a full month of services that will not be used — they try to bully you into staying and then when that doesn’t work you just don’t get a response. «We will see what we can do». I sent many emails that never got a response. Finally a phone call letting me know that they could let me out of the contact extension however the payment that was taken was not able to be refunded. Bear in mind that this is over $ 100 in services that we will never use. I was disappointed then and unhappy BUT it gets worse. The next month — they debited this service fee AGAIN after telling me it would not be and have been completely unhelpful to refund the money. They do not understand customer service, how to run a business or how to keep clients. As a result of this I HIGHLY recommend you take your business elsewhere or Mark your calendars and change your account numbers because they will essentially steal from you otherwise.
