Had a hard time finding a good barber after moving from Philly into Bensalem. I’ve had a short haircut for 14 years, so I’m pretty particular about a barber and how I want my hair to look. Other barbershops I’ve been to pretty much cut my hair how they wanted and when I’ve expressed my dislike for the cut, I was told I was being«picky ». If I want my hair dyed blue on one side and a Mohawk on the other, that’s what I want. Now I’m nowhere near that extreme, however you get Where I’m going here. The owner, Brian, has been cutting my hair for almost a year now and it’s always a good experience. Always a friendly hello. I usually go during the week because I’m impatient and can’t stand waiting lol. I’m normally in and out within a half-hour. Ten minutes of that being wait time. I got adventurous one weekend and wanted a lightning bolt on one side. Perfection. The other barbers, Nick and Amir are just as friendly. The clientele is diverse, with all nationalities and walks of life. Conversation here is a mixed bag. Never rude or grossing women and kids out. Mostly sports, current events and movies. You’ll never feel outta place here because the barbers make you feel welcome. Haircuts are fast and reasonable. I’m almost sure I’ve seen Amir cut five kids hair in 20 minutes flat. Even if I ever move back to the city, Brian will be my barber.

Finding a good barber is a trying experience. It is particularly hard if you’re a Black man living in an area which is predominately Caucasian. I found this spot upon moving to the area and am glad I did. They definitely cater to all demographics. The staff is racially diverse and the clientele is just as diverse. And the mixed crowd does not limit the debates normally found in a Black barbershop, it actually makes it more interesting. Oh, and they can cut too.
