Avoid this company like the plague. The actually made the problem with my Miele washer worse – to the point that after the repair man left, the washer leaked and ruined my new wood floor. To make matters worse, they have not made good on their«guarantee» and will not cover the cost of repair. After two months on inaction on their part, I finally took pictures and had the floor replaced at my cost. I sent in the pictures and the denied seeing any damage. This was absurd, because the water damage was clearly visible in the pictures. Now, six months later, I’m still unable to get them to own up to their«100% satisfaction guarantee» and pay for the repairs. Calling customer service repeatedly does no good, because they will not allow me to speak to anyone except the front line manager who says, «I’m sorry, but the owners say there is nothing they can do!»

We are very pleased that we came across Simon and Quick Fix Appliances. When we first contacted the business, I spoke with Simon. Told him our problem and set up an appointment. He came out diagnosed issue after trouble shooting and told us what we needed in way of parts. He had to order part and would come back. Our dishwasher is under countertop and our floor is a bit raised so the dishwasher cannot be pulled out without cutting the floor. He worked with that. He could have left but he did not. He replaced the heating element underneath! He had to get his arm under the dishwasher wenched between the unit and the floor. Not an easy task. Also, while he was there, I asked him to install a new garbage disposal that I had purchased. I was going to do it myself but figured since he was there, it was convenient. He had no problem with that. In the meantime, believe it or not. my Maytag Oven also started having problems. The dishwasher is also a Maytag. Both are only 4 years old, but this is an issue I will take up with Maytag. Of course, the extended warranty I had just expired. I contacted Simon about the oven. He asked me to check a few things, which I did but it did not fix the problem. Set up another appointment, he came out, diagnosed the issue and told us what we needed. The circuit board was burnt and so the oven would not heat up. The part is 340.00!!! We use the oven allot and need it for upcoming Easter holiday. Simon said he would try to save us some money by seeing what he could find in the way of circuit boards. He found oneand came out and installed it. He wanted to get our oven at least working so that we could use if for Easter. He wants to make sure it works so he did not take payment on it yet. He is a pleasant guy. He is friendly. He is honest. He works hard. Long days! Everytime we needed to contact him, he returns all phone calls. Its always good to find a good appliance repair person. We have found ours. You won’t be disappointed with this guy.

If you are impatient like me and want something fixed ASAP, this is the place to call. I called on a Thursday to have my washer fixed and the guy was able to come out the same day. The issue required him to come back a second time and he was able to come back out on Sunday. The fee to diagnose the problem is $ 40 which also goes towards fixing the issue as well… other places I called charged $ 60 and also didn’t have appointments right away. The only negative is that this is a one person operation, so the repairman needed help moving the dryer off of my washer. Luckily, I had some help but if you are single and can’t lift a washer… you might need to call for some backup.
