Andresen’s has some tasty pastries! They have cakes, donuts, cookies, breads, etc. We went for the donuts. I ordered 2 different kinds, and I thought they were very good. Enough filling, not stale, not too sweet. The staff were friendly and attentive. And I thought the prices were comparable to other bakeries in the area. I would go back,

I recently ordered my daughter’s birthday cake from Andresen’s bakery. I talked to Maria and kind of gave her an idea of what I wanted. When I picked up the cake I was amazed at how beautifully decorated it was! On a scale of 1 – 10, her creativity was a definite 10. Of all the cakes I have ordered over the past 20 years from various high end bakeries, this definitely was my favorite! My family could not stop talking not only about how beautiful the cake was, but also how good it tasted. I would highly recommend Andresen’s bakery.

Loved working with Maria and John on our boy’s 1st birthday cake /​cupcakes. They did a baby Viking cake with matching cupcakes, which we placed in a tower formation. Our guests loved the way it looked AND the way it tasted (chocolate cake + banana cream filling = YUM)!

Drove bye here on my way to work and the smell of fresh baked goods made me come in. Everything looks very good I didn’t know what to pick. They have gluten free blueberry muffins but they are frozen :(I decided on an oatmeal cookie and it tastes good so will be back in.

Great cakes and the butter cookies are the best. Crumbly and buttery crisp. I bought a banana cream pie and it was so very good. The whip cream was light and fresh and the bananas were perfect, not mushy. They have cupcakes and cakes for every occasion. Each holiday there is something new to try, so go get your sweets here!

You’ll find it in the strip mall near the North side of the Bensenville train station, next to the Edmar grocery store.
This place has the most delicious coffee cake. They have about 35 different flavors! I’ll pick up one up before work, and they’re always fresh and moist. Try the paczi during the available season.
The staff is very friendly and quick. The cost is reasonable, under $ 10 for the coffee cakes, although I can’t be sure since I usually end up with a few items.

Loved our 10″ cake & cupcakes! Not only did they look beautiful they also tasted delicious, the buttercream had the perfect texture & sweetness. The cupcakes the same, they were sprinkled with sweet glitter.

We have been coming to the shop for over 7 years, and have always gotten wonderful bakery goods. The service is very friendly, their cost is quite reasonable, and they have the most fantastic Coffee Cakes in this world — the Butterscotch is to die for.

My friend’s aunt bought her baby shower cake from this bakery, and it was seriously the BEST buttercream frosting I’ve EVER had. Sooooooooo good! Light, fluffy, cloud-​like, perfect amount of sweetness… amazing.

My most recent donut run for the office ended up at Andresen’s. Can’t vouch for their cakes, but their donuts are good, and the service was very friendly. And I can hardily recommend their packzi’s on Fat Tuesday — they had a banana cream one that was uh-​mazing.

I got a birthday cake for a co worker. It was strawberry, banana with custard, and chocolate cake with whip cream topping. It was a hit at work and so delicious. I recommend this place and they also have a $ 2 off coupon with a $ 15 purchase.

What a funny little place. Marge, at the counter, refused to give me a recommendation and it was only after much prodding that she revealed the daily special.
«Today we do elephant ears; you can’t cut them because they’re too flaky.»
He pronounced her T’s with serious punch.
As for the food: this is a standard bakery. They bake things. It’s not artful or all that interesting, but if you were choosing between the grocery next door or Andresen’s, go with Andresen’s. That way you get to hear Marge bite off her T’s and spit them at you.

Yes Andresen’s is a decent bakery however when I called there to find out if they carry any gluten-​free items the answer was emphatically «NO». Too bad, your loss!!!

I’ve never been in here, per se, but when I was in high school, our French teacher would order King’s cakes from them for Mardi Gras.
Sometimes, I’ll be going about my day as usual and BAM – out of nowhere, I’m suddenly craving some King’s cake SO HARD!
