I went in and ordered 5 subs. I went to the end of the counter to wait. I noticed some of my order was not correct. When I pointed out that my order was not correct, the guy the rang me up jumped in and grabbed the receipt from the guy making my order and said this is what you ordered. I told him that it was not correct. He said yes it is and went back to sit down in the lobby and eat. My order was corrected by the manager but I will never be back. This guy was rude and ruined my future visits to this store. He may have had a bad day but I will not be back. Last week a different cashier that rang me up started making my food without gloves after touching money now your touching my food? I asked him to put gloves on and remake my food. No strike 3 here, I am done. I will go to another location.

I have to agree with the other reviews this Jimmy Johns is very poorly managed we ordered 2 sandwiches for me and my assistant and both of us got sick to our stomach and the only thing had to say it wasn’t there food but we had nothing else to eat.

BYFAR the WORST location I have ever dealt with! No other locations have ever given me any problems, but this one somehow messes up every time I order. They either take forever(an hour or more), forget items, make the wrong food or leave ingredients off, or it is so hard and old that you need a jackhammer to crack the bread! The manager is no better than any of the employees, when he was supposed to refund me, instead charged me again and I had to wait just as long for double the amount wrong to get back in my account. The last time I complained, the response I received, «OK, I’m sorry…(Long pause)». Also, catering… I warn you, DON’T EVENBOTHER!

Do not get your sandwiches delivered from this location. I guess they figured since its delivery they could give old hard stale bread.

DON’T ORDERDELIVERYWITH A CREDITCARD!!! I placed an order for delivery and paid with a credit card over the phone. When the delivery guy came, I signed the receipt and gave him a cash tip. Couple days later, I check my credit card statement and Jimmy John’s over charged me. When I went to the store to ask, it showed that the delivery guy gave himself an additional tip on top of what I already gave him. The manager, Jose, refunded me the difference and apologized. He ensured me that the delivery guy will be fired. I go back a couple weeks later to pick up an order and I see the same delivery guy still working there. The delivery guy has long dark hair with piercings and tattoos everywhere. I have nothing against tattoos and piercings but that’s the best way to describe him. They are thieves and I will not be returning. If you are giving a cash tip, make sure to write cash or $ 0.00 on the tip line.

The«freaky fast» option is always good. The parking in this lot can be difficult. Staff is friendly and happy to be there, which makes it a good experience. –Wish there was outdoor seating.

I was working with a crew and ordered JJ at 11:30 with hopes it would arrive by noon. 1 hour later, still no JJ, so I called and asked there the sandwiches were. Turns out the delivery guy looked at our neighbor’s address, 748, and decided our address was incorrect and went back to the JJ store. Our address is 746… literally 1 door down from 748. He came back 30 mins later, this is 1.5 hours from when we first placed the order. Also, this location does not have sprouts, and we received the wrong chips.

Way overpriced! Hardly anything IN the sandwich. It was mostly bread. And I ordered guacamole on mine and got a VERY thin layer of it. I couldnt taste it and it was a total waste of money. $ 8 for a shitty sandwich! I could have gotten a much better one at Subway.

They are what they said they were; Freaky Fast Freaky Good… The store is clean, the staff is friendly, the service is fast, and the food is good. Why they get 5 stars when it should be 4 stars. When you go to Subway Restaurant you kinda smell like you have been in a Subway Restaurant when you leave. But when you go to a Jimmy Johns you give them money and they give you food without making you smell like a sandwich shop, there is a 1 star value in that. All in all, at least you don’t stink when you leave…

I had never tried Jimmy John’s until they offered that $ 1 sub deal a while back. As far as chains go, this is one of the better sub specialists. I was debating between 3 and 4 stars, but the delicious bread and speedy delivery helped add that 4th star. The delivery people are generally very friendly!

It’s a Jimmy John’s, so really, what can you judge it on? Well, the place is clean — super clean the early evening we went, because it was so dead the two employees were cleaning everything in sight! They got our sandwiches right, which is not saying a lot since they weren’t complicated. The bread was just a wee bit stale-tasting, but still had sufficient tastiness. My veggies were all fresh and the tomatoes were reasonably red for April. Service was friendly but basic — no extra mile or extra smiles. We came, we ate, we left. The end. As a side note, this little strip mall is fascinating to me. Much of the Irving Park stretch of Bensenville is rather run-down looking or being knocked down. This strip mall is nice and shiny and new-looking, with a JJ, a fish & chicken place, Chinese, a Polish deli and a tacqueria all in the same little shopping center. A pretty little beacon in an otherwise bleak area.

«If you like McDonalds, you’ll like Jimmy Johns» — my slogan of choice. «When I go on vacation to quaint rustic villages, original seaside villages or mountain hideaways, I ALWAYS tour the local Walmart and Jimmy Johns.» — optional slogan.

In my opinion, this is the best sub sandwich chain there is. There aren’t alot of choices as far as meat goes, and no non sandwich choices short of Chips and cookies. They bake their rolls fresh, and offer wheat and lettuce wraps as healthier alternatives. When I judge sub shops, I judge them primarily on their roast beef. This has among the best medium rare beef I know. I have had the ham sub, but ham is almost exactly the same wherever you go. The oatmeal raisin cookie is great to boot. Jimmy Johns is my sandwich shop of choice.
