So this place can look a little run down but it’s not bad. I got a Groupon for here and it’s dine in only. They have chips and salas for you to help yourself too if you dine in. The rice water is pretty good and the guacamole is yummy with chips. I ordered a chicken fajita quesadilla and asked them to please not to make it to greasy. When they brought it to me it was the size of the plate. It was tasty and I was not able to finish it. I will be back to try more things. They even have $ 1.50 taco on certain days.

Used to be a lot better. Before this building became a Mexican restaurant, it used to be a Wendy’s(just a bit of trivia) The food used to be a lot better to be honest. Nowadays I go there for posole and menudo mostly because those are still great. Unlimited self serve chips and salsa are a nice addition. Unfortunately the place seems to be going downhill. It’s a shame considering how delicious the food used to be there. Few miles down there is a better Mexican restaurant(forgot the name but it’s on York between McDonald’s and Mariano’s grocer store) I think it’s called El famous burrito.

The food is very greasy and over seasoned. Tacos are very dried. I got an upset stomach after eating from this place a few times. Taqueria Mi Tierra’s food quality way better.

I do like this place. It’s counter service fast food. Good flavors, fast service and fair prices. The interior is a little dated and run down, but it’s not dirty. I don’t eat here as often as I’d like, mainly because I can’t stand eating there because they have 3 televisions on 3 different stations all with sound on. No matter where I sit, I can hear all 3 and it drives me nuts. If they’d turn the sound off on all televisions I’d make it 4 stars.

Their burritos suck! Go to Jimenez supermarket in Addison. They sell the best burritos in thier small taqueria.

Everything I’ve had on the menu here has been terrific, reasonably priced and generously portioned. The staff and service are friendly. My favorite part is the self-service soda, chips and pico de gallo… which is the best I’ve ever had. Enjoy!

The tacos, ceviche, and everything else we ordered USED to taste good. The tacos have been dry, almost to the point where you can’t even eat them… the past few times, they give you hardly any extras even if your willing to pay(ex. Limes), the staff is rude and they seem to not know what they are doing… We had a credit for them giving us the wrong food and because we didn’t come back the next day or two(it was a week), they refused to honor it… unacceptable.

The food is pretty bland and the salsa is watery. To top it off the delivery girl didn’t have change(literally had not a dime on her) so I provided my credit card info as payment – imagine my surprise when I see that she helped herself to an additional tip. Luckily it was only a few dollars and not worth fighting about but I will never order from here again.

I found a long, black hair in my guacamole at this place(trust me, it wasn’t mine, I have blonde hair). I couldn’t eat Mexican food for almost a year I was so traumatized!

This was the old Wendy’s location next to the BP on Church & Irving. The food is not that great. The meat tastes like its been there for a few awhile. For dine-in, you serve yourself for chips & salsa. The price is ok for the portion. They have dollar tacos, which is a popular night. Much better places in Bensenville to choose from.

I give two stars and only because the food is alright. The service on the other hand is terrible. That staff is rude! So bad I stopped ordering from this place, decided to give it another go after a while and well… Nothing changed. When I had a problem with my order not showing up I was told the delivery driver had already came. No one has knocked or rang the doorbell. They apparently had called me. When I explained that my phone was charging and I was waiting for the door I had asked of they could bring my food back and ring when they got to the house. I was told no. I had to pick up my order. I asked to speak to a manager and the rude girl on the phone explained she was the manager and there was nothing she was going got do. I’ve seen the girls there. Very young, and I doubt managers due to the way they handled the situation. When I decided to give the place another go I called up for a delivery. I was told they didn’t have a delivery driver and I asked what time there would be one the girl said I don’t know. I went elsewhere with my business and will not be giving this place any more chances!

Their prices got a lot higher. The $ 2 tacos are now tiny and not really filled with much meat. They DO provide free chips and salsa but the chips are like cardboard. I could only manage to eat a few. Bleck. There is a place down the street in a strip mall that is far better and less expensive. Its a damn shame because I used to really like this place.

I took my family for a quick dinner and had a very pleasant experience. Between the six of us we tried a variety of items and were pleased with all of them. It appears that their carry out business is a large chunk of their traffic as we were the only ones inthe dining room at approximately 7:45pm. The service was great, employees were friendly and the entire restaurant was extremely clean. Eating in has its perks too as you are welcomed with warm, self serve chips with a variety of fresh salsas. I strongly recommend giving this place a chance if you are in the mood for a huge burrito or a solid Mexican menu. I had low expectations based on the name(which I see other reviewers mention) of the establishment and the fact that it is retro-fitted into an old Wendy’s location. I’m glad we gave it a shot as I was very happy with our meal and service. Once again, I need to emphasize the friendly staff and impressive cleanliness throughout. We’ll be back!

The food has been pretty good and for the most part pretty consistent except for one experience. I came at 1130 pm and they close at midnight. I ordered a torta and the bun was so stale so they pressed it thin like a Cuban sandwich which made it hard as a rock. Great fast lunch and they have help yourself Chips and salsa which is a bonus. The reason I’m giving this place a 3 star is because they DONTWEARGLOVES while preparing the food. We drove up in the drive thru and my boyfriend pointed out the cook in clear view was grabbing the food with bare hands. I’m not sure if this is mandatory but I think they really should wear gloves. He was holding my sandwich in his bare hand. Also the cashier doesn’t really listen and is a little unfriendly.

This is my second time here. Not very impressed with my order which was a steak burrito dinner. The steak was very bland and texture was that of either low great meat and /or it being steamed. I requested no sour cream in it which they did any way. Way too much and additionally took flavors away. The rice and beans were alright but that’s about it. Prices were in my opinion higher than average. On a more positive side I do like the complimentary chips which multiple salsas. It seems to be very clean and well furnished. The staff are polite and service was prompt. If I do come back I’ll try the al pastor or chicken. The steak was just yuk.

The food here is really good, the prices are reasonable and you often get MORE than what you paid for. Their burritos(the chimichinga is my personal favorite) are MONSTER sized, even the small ones! They taste fantastic(when they remember NOT to put frijoles on them). The tacos themselves are amazingly good! I recommend this restaurant highly to anyone who wants really fantastic Mexican food!

Finally a decent Mexican place that has awesome food. We got the steak tacos, «baby burrito» which is still HUGE, chicken quesidilla and gucamole. We went on a Sunday and it was packed including drive thru. The chips and salsa and pico de gallo were awesome(dine in only) free. Only thing missing was the Tequila!!! Great service and attitude at the counter which is a huge plus.

Everything I have tried here has been really tasty. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of my steak burrito. Expect really authentic Mexican food. Birria(goat stew) pozole menudo on the weekends chilaquiles that sort of thing. If you don’t know what those are you are seriously missing out. What really puts this place over the top is their home made pico de gallo and salsas. They let you take as much as you want at least when you eat there. The orange one is habanero and I cannot stop thinking about it. Seriously my mouth is watering as I am writing this. Check this place out.
