It’s two shops in one. It’s a change or pace. One side has western boots and clothes, and the other not-so-western-ish clothes and jewelry. It’s a different type of boutique, owned by the same person. I wasn’t sure what to expect with a name like«Dixie Divas». What I found was not a lot of the same ol’ same ol’. Dixie Divas carries t-shirts celebrating Carolina, horses, and strong women, but there are also handbags, scarves, blouses, shirts, shoes and flip-flops, both bedazzled and not. Along the walls and near the entrance are the displays of jewelry — not too much of it though. All of that is in half of the store. The other half, Boots and Camo, has boots, jeans, belt buckles, accessories. It’s a straightforward, no frills section. Not to say it’s ordinary — it’s not — there’s a lot to see. It’s an understated obvious on this side. Dixie Divas is a friendly, no pressure shop. Here, they’ll even box or bag your purchase to make it gift-ready. Nothing fancy to take away from the gift itself, but still nicely done.
