It is a country store and gift shop with fresh products. Old time candy, local barbeque sauces, local produce, ice cream, fun country gifts and much more. Always something different there when I stop buy. Clearly a family run place by the family that owns the farm. Stop in if you are in the area. Like to learn more about the Farm as well.

Excellent place for supporting fresh local farm produce. Eggs are great, butter is amazing and the chocolate milk is a must try! Friendly owners and staff. Stopped in for the second time on the way back from Wilmington.

Traveling from Wilmington to Mooresville, we needed to stop for gas. As always, I look to Unilocal for something fun to visit along the way. Once again, I found a great place! Homemade ice cream, amazing cheese(locally made), tons of candy and old fashioned sodas are just a few things that make the stop worthwhile. Sheetz is just down the road so you can get cheap gas, then come here for some snacks. I picked up a jar of apple pie-flavored, moonshine jelly. The offer tons of southern treats that would be fun to share back home.

We passed by this place on the way to the beach(the signs on the side of the road caught my attention–«candy», «fresh eggs», etc), so I told the hubby that I wanted to stop on our way home the next day to check it out. Similar to an old country/general store, they sell everything from old fashioned candy by the pound to locally made sauces/goodies/etc to eggs that come from chickens in the owner’s front yard(note– you must call ahead to order eggs!) They also sell homemade butter & ice cream & even hoop cheese by the pound! They sell fresh meats from Legacy Farms, about half an hour away. They don’t stock all meats all the time, they only have one small cooler. When we were there, they only had link and ground sausage as well as ground beef. Although we didn’t purchase any meats, it looked very fresh and was reasonably priced. For $ 14, we ended up getting 2 cones of homemade ice cream(Vanilla & Butterfinger), a package of Sour Patch Kids(not the imitation ones), and a pound of(delicious!) hoop cheese. Also, the owner(as well as her dog & cat that were in the store) were super friendly and our kids(as well as us) really enjoyed meeting all of them! We will definitely be back!

Cute old country style store, like their locally made ice cream, and butter. Also the grapes were a good taste.
