Smith’s attends the Western Wake Farmer’s Market on Saturday mornings and they have some of the best produce around. I was not sure if tomatoes were in season yet (April) yet their tomatoes proved me wrong. I bought 4 tomatoes and they were plump, red and juicy. They were perfect on a BLT and flavorful enough to eat on their own. The strawberries are also perfect and the small containers sell for $ 5. It seems like a mother and son duo at the WWFM and they are extremely friendly and helpful. I look forward to going back next Saturday and thank you for bring your fresh produce all the way from Smithfield to the Western Wake market!
