Not sure where the 5-star reviews are coming from but the pizza here was very underwhelming if not bordering on a complete disappointment. I’ve experienced much better generic frozen pizza let alone chain pizza than here. Hell the $ 0.99/slice pizza on 34th street was actually much better and cheaper to boot. My recommendation: do not come here for pizza.

I didn’t know pizzas could be bad. I had pizzas that were ok, good, and amazing. But this was pretty bad. The pie was soggy and wet. The dough was way too thin. I had dollar pizzas that tasted better. I’ll give a 3 star for now(I would have put 1 star), not sure when will I try this again over Papa Johns.

So like, I used to go to this pizza joint before it was renovated. I think it was like Marco’s Pizza or something before– totaaaally a dingy old school joint with gaudy paintjob and loud whirring fans. Now with the new management and renovation– this place is hip and awesome. The pizza quality hasn’t been effected– I think it’s the same dudes behind the counter all these years. The pizza slices are ginormous, and so fulfilling and flavorful.(Okay, arguably a little salty, but when you see that cheese pull apart for more than a foot when you try to get a slice from the pie… You know it’s worth it.) It’s around $ 12 for just a regular cheese pizza and up to $ 18 for the speciality ones. Support these guys!

I’ve eaten at Dimola’s several times since it’s opened, and love it! So glad to see a good pizzeria in the neighborhood. Definatly try the specialty pizza’s, the Al Capone is fantastic. Not in the mood for pizza?! Try the chicken noodle soup, it has a fair amount of chicken and tastes so yummy.

I gave them 1 star because Pizzeria Dimola is new & clean. I am a born & bred Brooklynite. I KNOW my pizza & pizzeria food. Pizza is ok, nothing spectacular. Frozen pizza at the supermarket tastes better. Their pasta is «al dente» & by al dente I mean half raw. I like al dente pasta, not crunchy, raw pasta. I’m still picking it out of my teeth! How can you make garlic & oil pasta tasteless? Bland, no seasoning, smothered in cheap oil, no garlic, that’s how. I’m dumfounded. I order shrimp parmigiana, pretty straight forward right? — shrimp, sauce, mozzarella. They use coconut shrimp. NEWSFLASH: IT’S F&*KINGDISGUSTING! Who the hell uses coconut shrimp for parmigiana? It’s a tree nut, you idiots! It’s a major allergen not listed on the menu. I called to tell them about it and their response was«oh, sorry» as bland as the food. WTF does that mean? The least they could have offered was my money back. The worst pizzeria food I’ve ever had, $ 16.00& a trip to the ER later, my advice: if you choose to eat here, do so at your own risk. Once was enough for me.
