If you are looking for a decent breakfast in Benton, this is a great place to go. I have had the corned beef hash and the meat lover’s skillet. They were both completely OK. The service is great and the staff is very friendly.

It’s Benton, ILL. My expectations weren’t all that high. It’s food. It was edible. The Cozy Table restaurant is equivalent to a Waffle House. The food is the same quality. The coffee weak. The service okay. Only thing missing was a juke box. They did have a slew of newspapers to choose from for reading which I am sure were provided from the numerous patrons who were there ahead of me. This location, however, needs a BUSBOY! What on earth is a restaurant with the number of four tops they have and NOT have a bus boy? I walked into this seat yourself location to find ONE clean table. There were many vacant tables but they were all filthy. The gal who provides menu, silverware, water and coffee was so busy doing that AND working the register that no one was cleaning up. Like I said. It’s Benton, Illinois. My expectations weren’t that high. It met my expectations.

Very Delicious food and great service! The Greek omelet was wonderful but everything here is. The owners were very nice as well. We’re new to this area and loved it! Will be back.

Place was very busy, took a little while to get served, but the waitress was very helpful and sweet. The steak and eggs were good, not great, my oldest son had the shrimp stir fry, and said it was really good, my youngest son had the gyro, and shared a bite with me, it was very very good!!! I will come back here again just for the gyros!!!

We were Motorhome traveling and asked our campground host for a recommendation for breakfast. We arrived around 11 am. The restaurant was about ¼ occupied. No one greeted us as we waited by the entry door. It is seat yourself, which a busy passing waitress informed us. So we did and about 5 minutes later, the server brought us menus & took our drink order. It took about 20 minutes from order to food on the table, which seemed long to us as most of the people already there had been served. The food was very good and worth the wait. We recommend their skillet breakfasts. Very tasty and an excellent value. Food was 4 stars. Service 2.5.

Great road trip stop. Had lunch with my wife and kids. Waitress was the nicest ever. Everyone liked their food, excellent alternative to fast good options pretty close to the highway.

We had their country platter for breakfast. Their biscuits are the lightest biscuits I’ve ever had. The platter consists of 2 eggs cooked to order, ½ order biscuits and gravy, and an order of hash brown potatoes. The ½ order biscuits and gravy is one large biscuit covered with gravy with sausage. This plus coffee and a small orange juice for the two of us came to just under $ 15. The food was delicious, and the service was exceptional. We will definitely go back again.
