King bed was clean. Rooms are dated but who cares just here to sleep, Shower, and go. Free Bfast. Just basics. Front desk and check in very nice. Good for what we needed, a place to sleep. Yes the ac is loud, but I suppose it drowns out the road noise. I’d do it again

More like two-and-a-half stars. The bad: it’s not much to look at, we had a loud air conditioner/heater, a leaky tub faucet, and small beds. The good: friendly quick check-in and a large, clean, pet friendly room. OK stay for the money.

This«hotel» looks like it should be condemned! First of all, there is a Day’s Inn sign alerting you that this is the Econo Lodge. Then, you see the Econo Lodge sign. The property is surrounded by hurricane fencing, as if it is about to be torn down, and maybe it should. Apparently it is now taken over by a new owner, and the owner’s name is on the hotel. So is it a Day’s Inn, an Econo Lodge, or Buster’s Hotel? The desk clerk looked like we were bothering him when we checked in; he was nice enough, but not very excited that we were there. The room was dirty. The A/C was extremely noisy. I hate a dirty bathroom. Delightful — breakfast was included, but we opted to go someplace else after seeing the«spread». It was not very sanitary, since I saw those same cereal dispensers out last night… humm, what else is leftover? I suggest not staying there. There are not many choices; we were there for the DuQuoin State Fair(which was fun). Best option would be to strike a tent, but don’t go to the Econo Lodge. I wonder if the company knows how this franchisee is treating their name.

It’s a place to sleep and shower. Not much more than that.
