House of Ink

I live in Los Angeles, where tattoo parlors abound on every corner. I had been wanting to get a tattoo for 6 months or so but hadn’t had the time. On a visit to Waterville to see my folks I decided to see if I could find a place to get one done while on vacation. There are a handful of tattoo shops in the area but unable to find solid reviews on any of them made me a bit nervous. After putting out a request for a recommendation on facebook House of Ink is the ONLY place numerous people recommended. My dad, brother and I all went out to House of Ink on a Tuesday to check it out and see if we could get an appointment. The shop was clean, the people who worked there extremely pleasant. Rodney, the owner, was booked solid till nearly September, a good sign in my opinion. House of Ink has been in business for well over 10 years. Rodney kindly offered to stay late to fit my dad, brother and I in for tattoos. He is a great artist and so personable. I do believe I might be making this a tradition when I go back to visit in the future.
