Didn’t even know this place existed… Location is kind of odd but phở is actually ok… Would have gave them 4 stars but I also wanted vermicelli but they said they was out. But besides that it was ok and I would come back for phở. Thanks!

This is a place for comfort food with good service with very good portions at a reasonable price. They always get my order right when I customize it.

Been eating here for several years and have never had a bad meal. The egg drop soup is always excellent and the cashew chicken is my absolute favorite.(Order it extra spicy). Huge portions at a great price. Eat here at least once a week. Love this place.

Great food and great prices. You can’t beat the flavor and portions from this little place. Never had a bad meal here. The waiter knows me by name and is always friendly and the food come fast, hot and fresh. Our favorite Chinese/Vietnamese restaurant. Nothing else comes close.

This is our go-to Chinese in NWA. Here’s why: Value: Prices are low and portions are huge. One meal can definitely serve two people, although the food tastes so good you won’t want to stop until you’re part of the clean-plate club. And lunch sizes seem like dinner sizes for prices between $ 6-$ 7. Incredible value. Flavor. The Bun and Phở are consistently fresh and excellent. Satisfying. The amount of meat is generous. And the fried rice is consistently outstanding. I took two people with me to dinner last night and after eating large bowls of bun, they went back and worked more on some pork fried rice. It’s that delicious. Friendly. Always fun banter with the family that owns and runs the restaurant. Very quick verbally and attentive with drinks. Fast service for having made-to-order meals. The interior and atmosphere are nothing special, but the friendly, smart staff more than make up for that. Love it for a delicious business lunch and it’s my family’s go-to for Asian dinner, take-out or dine-in. Five stars for delivering great flavor and portions relative to the price.

Hands down the best chinese in NWA! The PHo is also fantastic! The serving size is hige and the price is affordable. The management is very friendly and makes the experience enjoyable. Give this a fair chance and try items from both the Phở menu and the Chinese Menu.

Great place to eat. Never had a bad experience here. Although it already has great pricing for what you get, lunch specials are the best. Fresh ingredients and authentic Vietnamese cuisine in NWA. You can’t go wrong with a big bowl of warm phở here or any other entrée. Egg rolls and wantons are tasty too! Walk away satisfied and full for only paying like $ 8 sometimes makes you feel like you stole something!

Located a few miles away from home office of Walmart. Quick and friendly offset to lack of freshness and off taste. Seated promptly and order was taken without haste. Food was fast. I don’t recall what I ordered other than the dish had chicken, sauce, corn, bamboo, other vegetables, with fried rice. Lunch special came with choice of soup hot and sour or egg flower. The hot and sour soup lacked flavor and I elected to add some white peppers to give adequate quick. The chicken dish lacked freshness. More specifically from some of the vegetables. Taste was reminiscent of canned baby corn and canned bamboo. Chicken dish was overly sauced and over powered the dish as a whole. Not horrible but not the best Chinese. Overall only three stars for the good service and the miss on the dish. I might give another try this place if I ever visit Bentonville again. Probably a dish without vegetables.

I’ve been enjoying Vietnamese food all my life. This place was an exception, the Spring rolls were definitely Not fresh. They definitely had been sitting out. The Crab Rangoon was missing the crab! It was only cream cheese. The Phở broth was basically made with chicken broth and not the awesome flavor of authentic phở. Which is fragrant of star anise, ginger, fish sauce and so much more. It totally missed out. I asked for some extra Thai Basil and was charged even more. We certainly will not be visiting this place anymore… Sad as that we were really looking forward to having some Vietnamese food.

it’s hardly fine dining, but you get a great portion of fresh food for a low price. lunch includes soup(hot and sour is great) and a spring roll for less than $ 6. I haven’t tried the phở yet, but I’m told its quite tasty too. I’ve had some trouble finding good«cheap Chinese food» here in Benton county, and this is by far the best I’ve come across here. UPDATE: the phở is also very good! highly recommended!

Best Vietnamese food in town, they even have smoothies but was out when I was there. Phở is better compare to phở thanh and it is just eatable not good. The cook is Asian and waiters n waitresses r american. Good combination for excellent food and service.

Good Phở! Only eaten there twice, and that’s all I had. I had a vegetarian Phở the first time(which wasn’t on the menu), and a chicken Phở the second time… I’ll stick with the vegetarian style. I’m a huge meat eater, but I am leery of any Asian Proteins in NWA!(had a few BAD experiences, at a couple of different places!!)

I like the place. I eat only from the Chinese menu, don’t try any of the Vietnamese stuff. I don’t understand why people dog the place for being small, it is what it is. If you’re going with a big party, you’re better off going somewhere else. Their lunch specials are cheap and good, and I live close by… pretty good combination

Just moved to NW Arkansas from the CA Bay Area. I was skeptical that I’d find a decent Vietnamese restaurant, but I was wrong again. In the last two days, I found a solid Thai restaurant, and now this. I can’t say I’ve sampled everything on the menu, but my dinner tonight was decent. I walked into the restaurant about 7:45 tonight. There was a Vietnamese family having dinner there(always a good sign). I was the only other customer at this time. I asked the caucasian waiter if I should order phở or chinese. He said, «PHO!!» I order the fresh spring rolls and the beef phở, hold the tripe. The spring rolls were good. The peanut sauce was a little watery, I expect it to be the something between ketchup and tomato paste, but the consistency was more like melted chocolate iced cream. The peanut sauce was tasty though and they put in plenty of ground peanuts on top. I ordered the small phở. It was piping hot, tons of noodles, lots of vegetables, four thin, but large slices of beef, lots of sprouts and cilantro, and a normal portion of jalapenos. It was quite tasty. I have a healthy appetite but I couldn’t finish my meal. It was really good. The décor could use some work, but the food was really good. I am shocked again.

I feel it for those who rated this place bad because I can see the poor service thing happening. If there are old grumpy asians working, it’s bound to happen. Trust me I know, I call them my parents. Jokes aside, I was very happy with the quality of their phở. I missed some good broth because living in Arkansas, especially in LR, you don’t get good phở. However, the broth was very deeply flavored and it was served quickly, just what I needed. More accurate assessment would be 3 and ½ stars, but since such thing doesnt exist, i’ll just go ahead and leave 4 stars.

We Walked Out. I was very excited to know that there was a Vietnamese restaurant in the area, so I decided to take my family of 9 to have dinner there after a long days trip. Mind you, we are huge fans of phở and the Vietnamese cuisine. So, this was a big deal! We were tired, it was hot and we walked in, and told them we had nine people in our group. They pointed to a table which could only seat eight. So, I grabbed a chair from a near by table no one was at to place at the end for our ninth person. The guy serving us rudely said, «No. You cannot put the chair there.» So I suggested, «May we put another table there?» And again, he coldly responds, «No. You cannot move any tables.» Confused, I thought I would clarify in case he forgot or heard me wrong, «Sir, we have nine people in our group.» And his disrespectful response was, «I know! Eight over here and one over there!» My family just looked at each other in complete disbelief. Maybe he doesn’t mind eating alone without his family, but what family goes to a restaurant together to sit apart? I’m completely baffled by this to this day! Needless to say, My parents and my in-laws were not happy with how he was speaking to me and how he was unwilling to accommodate a group of nine. He clearly didn’t want our business and we were perfectly happy not giving him our money. I’m very disappointed that in an area where Asians are few, we were treated so badly by one of our own instead of welcomed. Even if he truly could not accommodate us due to regulations, had he been respectful by explaining and had suggested something more appropriate, he would have gained customers that would bring him hundreds, possibly thousands of dollars a year. I would suggest the Vietnamese restaurants in Fayetteville. They are warm, welcoming and have great food.

Cheap, fast and good! The menu includes Chinese and Vietnamese options and there is a lunch menu. I ordered the Mongolian beef with steamed rice and started with wonton soup. A coworker had a bowl of Phở. Our bills were about $ 7 each with tax. We were impressed by how quick service was at lunch time.

From what I understand, this is the only restaurant that serves Vietnamese food in Bentonville. Being a phở-fanatic, of course I ordered the phở. I also ordered the fresh spring roles. Eh…not impressed. The broth tasted old. The noodles were overdone. The meat was decent. The bean sprouts provided was a bit on the sparse side and didn’t appear fresh. The rolls didn’t appear stuffed. The food was reasonably priced. You get a lot of noodle for what you pay for. I ordered the small phở, and I got a big, whoppin’ bowl. I have no idea what a large would look like. I give this place 2 stars, maybe 2.5 applying Bentonville standards… if we were in SF however, I’d give it 1.5. Would I come here again? Only if I broke down and had massive phở cravings… and had no where else to go for my Vietnamese fix. :-/

I’ve decided that I’ll have to drive a bit for good Vietnamese. I’ve eaten here on a couple of occasions, and wasn’t happy either time. First time I had phở, and it was terribly bland. To be fair, I’ve found that to be typical of any Vietnamese restaurant who doesn’t really specialize in it. Basically, after living in Houston for 4 years and eating the stuff every week, if «Phở» isn’t in the name of the joint and there aren’t numbers on the tables, I don’t order it. So I decided to give the place another try. Vietnamese restaurants are always judged by their spring rolls and I’d be nice and give these a B-. Wrappers were fresh enough, but they were totally bland, no herbs and not tasty pork. And the peanut sauce was too sweet and too watery to even stick a little the the roll. I had to try to spoon it into the roll, only to have it run out. Bummer. So on the second visit, we got cups of Hot-n-Sour soup to warm up. Now, everyone makes this a little different, but what makes hot-n-sour soup distinctive is that dark rich broth. This was eggdrop, with no change except for maybe a touch of soy and a few red pepper flecks. And where were the tree ears? The black tree mushroom is a requirement of real H-n-S. Party foul #1. Bummer. Even the buffet on Walton has decent H-n-S soup! For my entrée, I went for a Vietnamese stir friend noodle dish with several different types of meat and veggies. Veggies should be safe enough, but I got regular ol’ canned white mushrooms, not even the shitakes like in my dining partners dish. No generic canned mushrooms in Asian food — Party foul #2! The mixed meat consisted of 2 shrimp, with the dirty looking stuff still attached by the tail and tasting pretty fishy as well. Also, some surimi, squid, some fatty beef bits, and what is supposed to be the BBQ pork. However, this was(because I asked) some sort of pork«cake» that they soak, boil, then put in the stir fry. Now I’ve had this stuff before, and know what it should taste like — well, it should taste like PORK. This tasted really old and freezer burnt. As I picked it out and inquired about it, I got a shrug from the waitress. Not too worried about my satisfaction, I suppose. My dining partner had Chinese Food, Kung Pao Chicken, and enjoyed it — at least he got the shitake’s! But it left a huge puddle of grease behind on the plate, and in my mouth as well, so I’m not even sure they would be my first choice for Chinese in the area.
