Such a fun area. This the center park area of Downtown Bentonville. Always something going on! Check out Farmers Market every Saturday — lots of fresh, local produce, homemade goods(jewelry, leather goods, etc.), meats, food trucks, etc. Events are going on all the time in Bentonville and most of them are happening at the Square Park. Cool area with lots of shops, businesses, and restaurants around it. Cool old town architecture with new and modern shops and restaurants.

At the heart of «downtown» Bentonville is the Town Square, which is graced by a small park. Surrounded by a short office buildings and the Benton County Courthouse, this small area is well manicured and maintained. Benches and a fountain plus a large statue of Confederate soldier and former Arkansas Governor(from Bentonville, natch!) James H. Berry. There is sometimes a free wi-fi signal here. According to some research, there were attempts to remove the statue or perhaps rededicate it due to the controversy surrounding«The War of Northern Aggression». However the square is owned by the Daughters of the Confederacy in perpetuity so it is unlikely that it will ever change. The South will rise again, or so they say. Also, the Wal-Mart Visitor’s Center is on the west side of the square.
