I just spent $ 13 on a surf and turf for lunch. The portion size was ridiculously small. For $ 13, I shouldn’t be leaving hungry.

Found this place trying to find a Chineese restaurant in Bentonville, which apparently don’t exist. The Steak, Teriyaki chicken, and soup are all good. A little pricey but worth going to.

Like any restaurant service could always be better, but service was great, small comfortable atmosphere, sushi is worth the money and the fish taste so fresh, sushi bar is a great place to sit and enjoy some delicious rolls, definitely check it out!

This Shogun’s is definitely not as fancy as the one in Fayetteville, by any means. I recommend going during lunch time if you want to save yourself some money. I normally get the Bento Box which is $ 10 and that let’s you try a little bit of everything(12 pc sushi, chicken, rice, veggies)

Wow. Just wow. This place is anything but«express». Absolutely terrible service. Do yourself a favor and go to the other Shogun up the road that has the show and pretty good service.

The White Tuna was fantastic this past weekend. Service was great, very friendly. Surprised the fish was as fresh as we have it in California… If I’m ever in Bentonville again I’ll make sure to stop by.

Good food but terrible service. They really don’t have a kids menu, just smaller portions of adult meals. My wife asked the manager how much for a double portion of meat(chicken) on her meal and she was going to give our 6 year old some of that meat and her rice. He asked, «how many ounces?» When it came time to pay, the server took the credit card and then never returned. We waited over twenty minutes and she didnt even look at us. Really disappointing compared to the excellent service we get at Shogun in Bentonville.

I’ve been more of a fan of this place since Johnny took over. I love to go in and sit at the bar, order some rolls for my wife and I, and shoot the breeze. It seems like he constantly has new staff in, and that’s really probably the weakness here is that it seems the staff suck if it’s not Johnny or his wife. The sushi’s good, Johnny knows me by name and is the main reason I go here instead of Kobe’s. Kobe’s has a bit better rolls, and they are bigger, but I go back to Shogun for the Cheers effect I guess you could say.

Probably the worst establishment we have encountered since our move. The waiter had no idea what to say except«um, i dont know» and go get the chef. We ordered the BBQ roll that comes to the table on fire only it wasn’t and we both got a mouthful of butane flavored sushi! Then we washed that down with a long island tea that had whiskey in it only to move to the next roll that was swimming in Italian salad dressing with a thousand island sauce. We then ordered some fruity drink called the«tropical dreamer» that was made entirely of fruit juice. The only good thing was our sashimi and $ 88 later we wished we would’ve stayed home. We will never go back.

This diamond in the rough is under new management. Johnny is awesome. Service was great, food awesome. They now serve hard liquor and great prices. I got the Yahoo Roll. Best sushi ever. Please give this place a shot. I couldn’t say anything negative. The intimate setting of shogun expess has us sold. It is locally owned and operated and I respect that. The employees were Informative and proffesional. Restrooms imaculate, food quality A+++, atmosphere was good too. Hip hop music and medium lighting. I ordered a prototype«saki martini» if you like dry martinis. Please try this. Awesome.

I’ve enjoyed Shoguns restaurant in Rogers-great food, fun at the grill, etc. Shoguns Express was not so great or fun. I went for lunch recently and waited to be seated for awhile. Not sure what the wait staff was doing. It was obvious I was standing at the door. The menu is the same as that of the Shoguns restaurant, just no grills, much smaller place. I had steak and chicken and it was just NOT up to the standards I am used to when I order this. The taste was different. The sauces tasted different. I will stick to the actual restaurant. «Express» in this case just means worse.
