I ordered a beer basket for my son for Valentine’s Day only to find that he unexpectedly had to leave town on business. He offered to pick it up from Fedex on his return but by then Fedex had returned the basket to Build a Basket. When I called them to ask for a refund I was told that their policy was no refunds. They happily kept my $ 50 worth of beer that I’m sure was shared among employees. Be careful of these internet retailers — all kinds of policies in place to protect them and not us, the consumers!

I was SO excited about this website to find they could put a company logo on a gift basket. How perfect for gifts to clients! I know it’s now December, but they just seem unorganized/too busy to help me. I couldn’t find a similar product online so I really wanted business to work out. It seems it is. but I had to call/email each day(5 days total) because I haven’t gotten a clear response they received all the ordering information I sent. They said they would forward my message, but the next day no one got back to me. I asked my contact there twice why she hasn’t got back to me yet, she just dodged the question and gave me a promise of confirmation which I can’t 100% trust. I hope she follows through. Even if she would have said, «It’s Christmas, there are so many orders,» or «We are very short staffed right now.» That would have been fine but I feel like she just ignored me and my concerns. Disappointed in the lack of confirmation/contact with client on an expensive order.

Hi, I ordered a basket this past week. They have great customer service. I spoke with Lonya over the phone and Casey on chat. Both were very helpful and they basket was delivered on time as promised.

I put in an order for my in-laws 10 days prior to Christmas for a basket to include yummies, martini glasses and two premium bottles of vodka. The day after Christmas, I received a call from the place notifying me they were out of the martini glasses and would I like to replace them with something. When I exclaimed that they were calling me the day after Christmas there was no apology just a grunt. This was for my in-laws! We are so embarrassed and mortified. I will never use this web site again and hope you don’t either!
