I liked the previous owners better. It seems so different now yes they have a bigger selection but it’s extremely lacking in character dans has been around for years and these owners seemed to have changed everything except the name. This place loss it’s greatness and just turned into a business more expensive and less character. Shame

I haven’t been to dans deli in years because of a bad experience with previous owners. I started going again this week to give the deli and new owners a shot. The food is fresh, the deli is clean, and staff is friendly. I will be a regular!

The new place is so nice, clean, and everyone is extremely friendly. Worked hard to accommodate my need for a bagel without a lot of filling due to stomach surgery, and prices are great. Their new number is nowhere to be found, I called information to get it — it’s 201−384−3354.

The new owners really cleaned this place up. Everything is fresh and cooked to order. Prices are very fair and the owners are real nice hard working guys that value your business. You can order your food and sit back and relax, read a paper and never feel rushed… Service at the counter is prompt and the workers are on top of everything to make sure you are satisfied…

I’ve got a special spot in my heart for this place because it was my dad’s favorite spot in Bergenfield to stop by and talk with neighborhood friends… it brings back memories from back in high school and even more recent trips with my parents to Atlantic City that began with delicious bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches and coffee for the trip. HORRIBLE «deli.» The staff is unpleasant and unclean, and the food is VERY overpriced and not even tasty.
Everything about this «deli» screams cheap and low-​quality. I also see the workers selling cigarettes and such to underage kids. All in all, a poor restaurant
