I wanted to share my experience on the NJ Transit Rail system. My son loves trains and I took him for a ride from Dover to Madison and we had a great time. We rode on the double deck trains and the ride was smooth. Most people think of trains as dingy and smelly well that is not the case here. The conductors are very friendly and can sell tickets if you need them. Although you want to pay at the station since there is mark up when you buy them on the train. To all the parents who are looking for something to do with the kids this is a great ride. Pricing is reasonable and there are not many people on the train. (Small kids ride free.)
