1st off, I am all about supporting local businesses that are trying to make it. The brewmaster is excellent at brewing, but needs to be in a non-customer facing role. The daughter and wife are excellent in interacting and running the front area, but the owner comes off as grumpy. If a designated driver or somebody that doesn’t drink beer accompanies another patron into the establishment, at least offer the a cup of water to drink with the food that was ordered. Before we visited, saw that a starter fund was setup, but now, don’t even know if will be back until we hear good things about it. Also, since the large majority of folks that are passing through are from out of town, they expect an establishment that is at least organized, without the owner complaining that they are running out of potato salad because he under estimated(good problem to be in) and discussing that the equipment that he is using needs to be upgraded to make it. Understand that this is a start up, but if you want success, you have to be nice to the customers that are trying to make you successful. Would love to come in and give pointers to make it a success.
