Now that I’ve finally become a Unilocalster, I’m giving out kudos to the great people I encounter.
Barbara is a good example. I was recommended to her by my chiropractor (they consult on my treatment). She’s been working for decades, and her hands are educated and experienced in detecting what’s going on in my body. She inquires how much discomfort I can tolerate. Add to that her good nature and sense of humor and you get the reasons i rate her a 5!

Barbara is one of the best massage therapists you will ever find. She responds to your needs, and provides an extremely healing and comforting experience. I have known Barbara for 38 years. I know she cares about the work she has chosen. Whether you are a person or an animal you will be lucky to be touched and cared for by her.

Ditto the five stars. Very professional, very educated about the body and massage. So many bad massages in the past with others — I will be hard pressed to go to anyone else ever (unless I’m on a beach in Hawaii — then I might reconsider)
One thing I appreciate — I started seeing her during a long recovery for a herniated disc and she would occasionally drop things to me that she thought might help in the recovery process. And a lot of the information helped me explore opportunities to reach recovery.
The biggest challenge is getting in her calendar — she’s only in the Bay Area half of each month, so you either need to plan ahead or keep on eye on your email for released appointments!

I can count on 3 fingers the best body workers I’ve ever been to and Barbara is one of those! I was fortunate to be able to see her weekly when I was pregnant with my first child. Now, 14 years later, I still dream of seeing her! She is truly the best. Barbara has a firm and relaxing touch as well as in intuitive side that will find every knot and go for it. I love her space as well as her energy. Give yourself the gift!

I’ll keep this simple — Barbara is amazing. Her experience really shows. She is strong yet sensitive. She often puts me in a deep trance when she works, and I come out of it feeling great.
