As an aspiring monk desperate for a good haircut, I came in BD Cuts expecting just a 0. My friends were all gushing over how amazing BD was at giving haircuts. My only experience with haircuts was with Tu, but I truly saw genius with BD. I wanted to shave off all my hair, but BD convinced me to get a 1, which is all the rage in the monk circles and now it really gets me noticed in the monk community in a good way ;)

After Tu’s Short Cuts went out of business, I had to find another place to get cuts. At first, I frequented Cotta’s Cuts, but his quality just wasn’t cutting it (hahaha). Luckily, I was introduced to BD Cuts by an acquaintance and I’ve been a loyal customer ever since. BD gives the freshest fades and his price is unbeatable. His service is impeccable and his skill is unrivaled. Easiest 5 stars I have ever given.

BD is as good as it gets. I love to bring my sons here for their fresh cuts. BD is always professional, and he always brings me warm honey lemon water while I wait for my sons. Fantastic service. He even has two pinball machines for those waiting in line because he’s always booked. All in all, I wouldn’t bring my boys anywhere else!

BD is by far one of the most talented barbers I have ever been to. I get a cut from him every 3 weeks and he never fails to disappoint. Far better experience than Cotta’s cuts, which is his greatest competitor. Come to BD and I promise you won’t be disappointed!
Tip: You might want to call ahead because BD is always booked. Also, feel free to be generous with the tips because his prices are dirt cheap! :)

I’m glad BD Cuts popped up in the Berkeley area, or else some of my friends might have never gotten their hair cut.
