Berkeley City College Library is located on the first floor, on the right side of the elevator banks. It is a small library which seems to be more of a study hall than a place one could borrow books. I will concede the librarians do their best to maintaining a quiet atmosphere here. There have been a few times it has gotten a bit too chatty and it was not pretty when the principal librarian came out of their office to deal with the situations. When I do have to study in there, I utilize the earplugs to hear the sounds in my head and to minimize the external noise while doing what I have to do. If there are no study groups occupying the study group rooms, I go to an available one and shut the door. Like the first reviewer mentioned, I also like how I can borrow a book in order to make photocopies for my personal use. I had to do that when a loaned book(from a great friend) had a few garbled pages(publisher’s gaffe). I will conclude(along the lines of the first reviewer) it is a small resource library the students are fortunate to have. Fresh Review #25 of 100 Unilocal!for 2013.

This place has lots of study tables. Computer locations. Private rooms. The librarians are strict with keeping this place quiet. I like how I can borrow books here for the classes I take so I can make copies of whatever I need. However I ould say it’s a small library.
