I got a one hour shiatsu massage from Anna (the owner, perhaps?). I used to go to the Kabuki Springs in SF many years ago, and this was far, far better. Anna did an incredibly thorough job.
So many therapists try to throw in a bit of Swedish massage along with the shiatsu. And worse, some folks get carried away with scented candles and foo-​foo «treatments.» I have little patience for all that and I feel cheated when my shiatsu gets «diluted».
Not so with Anna. She gave me the real deal. I will be back for more!

This place has been around for a while, and moved a few times. I found this spot via a massage gift certificate and have been back many times. The two massage therapists who worked on me were both wonderful, skilled and professional. The business itself is a bit old school, the website doesn’t always work for appts and when you call its usually an answering machine. It’s worth the time to book an appt. They are excellent, maybe the best sports massage I have ever experienced.

When I get a massage, I want healing versus a nice, feel-​good session (which is great on it’s own if that’s all you’re after). I don’t find many massage therapists who accomplish that.
I saw Mike last night — my first time at this business — and boy did he surprise and deliver! He worked deeply on my L rhomboid and ischiogluteal area (and showed me how more than just the ischioglute was involved) and I am so improved! (In addition to having a nurturing, relaxing session.)
Mike is talented, experienced and knowledgeable. Also, the owner, Ona, was so nice to me and easy to work with — she made it easy to reschedule my original appointment when my car was stolen.

I found this place a few months ago, and got a massage before taking a long flight. It was one of the best bodywork sessions I have had, and I have been back here regularly since.
The staff are courteous, professional and accommodating. It is very easy to book an appointment. I highly recommend this place.
