This is a really great event with food, beer, arts, crafts, and terrific live music. The stage was adorned with a beautiful huge backdrop with The Grateful Dead’s famous Steal Your Face graphic. The Dead actually used it themselves in the 1980s; it’s a gorgeous piece of history!
The 1st year was an amazing day of fun, but in 2015 it will run for 2 days — don’t miss it!!!

I was very impressed last year, and look forward to year #2! A relaxed friendly vibe, great location right by BART, very good music, arts and crafts — and free admission. What’s not to like? Many of the performers are so young that some of them never got to see Jerry Garcia play. Yet they really nailed the sound, even the vibe of the Grateful Dead and JGB music. Good enough to make the audience dance, and everyone had a lot of fun. I think anyone who loves this music will really enjoy this festival. See you there!

Excellent event for anyone who appreciates the Grateful Dead, psychedelic arts & crafts and peace loving community! This is exactly what the east bay needs as a regular event. So much fun with so many friends — old and new! I am thrilled to be able to say I was there for the first one and hope it becomes an event on the level of San Francisco’s Jerry Day with everyone marking their calendars for it each year. We listened & danced to the music, bought some tie dyes from the booths and ate dinner from the food trucks. Every part was superb!

Concord, CA
Was a great show, 4 of the best Grateful Dead tribute bands in the Bay Area just rocked downtown Berkeley! Totally Dead’s Terrapin Station and Sugaree, Reckoning performing Shakedown Street, Wake Of The Dead’s Eyes Of The World and Sweet Blossom’s Snow and Rain were some of the high lights.
Lagunitas Brewery was there, IPA, PILS and Daytime for $ 5 a glass and all the money went to the Seva Foundation.
I would pay to attend this event but happy it’s free!
