I don’t know why he has such terrible reviews! I had gone to another shop for daisies, which were $ 2 each, but they didn’t take credit card. The daisies here were also $ 2, but there were more options, and he offered to sell three to me for $ 5. He did charge $.50 for using a credit card, but a lot of small businesses in Berkeley do this. Apparently, you can also get a discount if you bring your daily cal press card too. :) All in all, I definitely thought that it was pretty reasonably priced for a small bouquet!

Its obvious that the owner here is at this shop not just to make money, but for his passion in flowers and wanting to make someone’s day. I came here, after wanting to support the local small businesses, to get a bouquet of flowers for my friend’s bday. The pre made flowers are pretty expensive and aren’t that great BUT if you ask him to make a fresh bouquet, it will be beautiful! I only had a 20 on me, but he made it work. I basically told him what I wanted, pointed to the flowers and he gladly arranged them to something awesome.
I actually changed my mind halfway and without hesitation, he let me repick the flowers and allowed me to pick the way how I wanted it to look. For 20 dollars, it wasn’t bad and for the wonderful service I received, I’m not complaining. He even offered me a few flowers for free for the finishing touches on the bouquet and for me to carry around! Come here and be open minded and respectful; you’ll get respect and a nice bouquet of flowers in return.

AVOID AT ALL COST! This guy is so shady… Listen and please please please listen to the other one stated comments. I came in his store today looking for only two flowers as he advertised on a stand, instead, he freaking pulls out and chooses 5 flowers from his own preference when I specifically already had chosen the two I wanted. I told him no and he seemed displeased. The total was supposed to be $ 5 but he charged me 5.50 and he said somehow the credit card machine charged tax. NO he isn’t allowed to do that. 50 cents isn’t even the right amount of tax! What a piece of scum. He throws in another rose and expects me to smile and think I got a good deal. I am not surprised as to why this guy rarely gets customers and is always standing in front of his shop bored out of his mind. FYI, do not scum your customer just for 50 cents. You will go out of business in no time. –_​_​_​_​–

so, I decided to go here cause I wanted to spend like 2 – 3 dollars on a couple of flowers. I was not expecting a whole lot, maybe like 2 really pretty flowers. I walk in, am looking around, and he makes me a flower arrangement for 4 – 5 dollars! I am so not into spending that, so I ask him to remove some things, and we get it down to two dollars. He reaches over and picks up an extra flower and puts it in there. when I ask him to wrap it up, I ask him how much. He says, «$ 2.50. I look suprised and he says, I gave you an extra flower… I’m so not coming back here again… talk about trying to scam for a few extra cents.

the guy made a pretty weak bouquet and kept adding wilted flowers to it to try to make it better. i asked if he was independent, as in, was this stand his only selection and he agreed. then he asked me to follow him to his shop where i could pay. we finally negotiated to 15 even but then he said the «credit card machine charged tax» so it came out to 16.25.
