Dr. Jacka impressed me with his inquisitive and caring manner — and his willingness to consider broad scope of possible diagnoses and approaches. I have a complex and ongoing set of symptoms — soreness, pain and swelling in various degrees and with a strange pattern of repetition. Previous podiatrists seemed to have a limited set of «solutions» and little imagination about alternative ways to proceed. At the end of an exhaustive examination, I received a prescription to deal with immediate symptoms, and what seems to be an excellent reference to a neurologist to deal with my underlying condition.
I was also impressed by Dr. Jacka’s staff and assistants, all of whom were helpful — and obviously concerned with my mood and condition — and dedicated to helping me get better.

I went to Dr. Jacka because of a painful foot problem. After a brief examination he explained my options very clearly, gave his recommendation (which was not the most expensive, which I appreciated as I had no insurance) then he successfully completed the procedure. In and out in less than an hour, at a competitive price. Highly recommend.

Dr. Jacka is an extremely good listener, very methodical, and has earned my sincere trust. As an engineer, I appreciate good data-​driven medicine, and Dr. Jacka has this approach. He’ll listen carefully to me, do a thorough examination, and then explain the diagnosis and treatment options very clearly. I cannot emphasize enough how clear these discussions are. He takes time to let me to ask follow-​up questions, and will clarify points I didn’t understand. As I continue to work through a lifetime of foot problems, I am so relieved to have finally found a doctor as good as Dr. J.
Not only does he excel at the scientific aspects of medicine, but he is also quite empathic. He’s had to deliver some less-​than-​happy news to me, but did so in a very caring way. This is miles better than my previous podiatrist, who was about as scientific and empathic as a magic 8 ball.
