I’ve been seeing David for acupuncture and herbs for over ten years, since he was an intern at the acupuncture college. He is warm, intelligent, and a great listener, taking time to really ask questions thoughtfully and figure out the best course of treatment and herbs. His personalized herbal formulations have been deeply healing to me. I have referred many, many people to him and all have loved him and have benefited. He doesn’t have a lot of reviews here on Unilocal yet for some reason. I was shocked when I came across the one star and comments about him having an ego issue or defensiveness. I have never seen even a little bit of that. I know him to be sincere and caring for his patients, with tremendous dedication, knowledge and skill. I have been getting acupuncture for 35 years from various acupuncturists so I do have a lot of experience to compare to.

I went to David for a skin issue I was having, and his treatments and herbs completely cleared my skin, and also made me feel more balanced, more energy and focus. I highly recommend!

While I did benefit some from the treatments, it was not worth putting up with David’s bloated and insecure ego. You don’t want to be around him when he’s defensive, and one thing that brings that out is not getting better. Yes, he makes good eye contact, but can usually remember the theoretical things he’s been saying much better than what you just said about your symptoms. He dished the colleague who referred me to him on several occasions, similar to how he talked very negatively and condescendingly to me when my body didn’t cooperate by healing miraculously from his treatment plan the way that he had predicted – not the best bedside manner! He seems to be well-​intentioned but to have his head in the clouds about his own powers, and he seems to give himself permission to be very rude and blaming towards clients for no reason other than to avoid dealing with his own conscience.

David is your mountain man with needles! I’ve known David since he was a student and I worked at this acupuncture school. I didn’t really get treated by him until he graduated and became licensed … I highly recommend.
His style is pretty mellow and laid back, but he knows his stuff. He’s a listener with good eye contact. I believe you will feel confident that when he treats you, he does so with a strong understanding of why you are there and how he can help.
