My sisters and I saw this dentist as kids and he was horrible and mean. He also «accidentally» pulled an adult molar from me before I was 11. I am actually appalled that he is still in business and was just checking the internet to see if I could find other people who suffered under his care. I remember one time he left me under the gas too long and I had to lay down in the back for 30 minutes or so to recover. Be aware– I am sure there are plenty of dentists you can go to for better care.

I have had great experiences with this dentist office. The staff is very caring and kind. They remember me and my children. They are very catering to my child who is anxious about the dentist. They are gentle and give loot to the kids when they are done. The dentist isn’t quite as lovey as a younger dentist would be but my kids don’t mind him. I have recommended and will again. The office is now closed!

The WORST dentist I have ever come accross. He may have been adequate (at most) at one time, but he is entirely too old to work in this field. His hands were shaking so much while he checked my daughter that the little mirror was tapping on her teeth!
I do not think he should be practicing and there is no way I would let that man near my children’s mouths with sharp instruments!
The staff was rude to my scared daughter. BTW all 3 of my children have been to two different dental offices in the past with no problems — even had some work done with no tears. At Dr Laston’s appt; two left crying and all were traumatized. They treated all of us like they were doing us a favor, and were rude to my young daughter when she got scared.
Lastly, I found a rather large cavity in my daughters mouth 1 day after Dr Laston checked her (with his shaky hand). He missed it! Do not let this man near your children’s mouths! There is MUCH better out there. Anyone would be better.

The only reason I am giving this dentist even one star is just because I do believe he has a license, but he is terrible. He is old and grumpy. He barely spoke to my children, and his office staff could not even produce a treatment plan for my oldest son who had some cavities that needed to be filled. They asked that I just bring him in and once the dentist filled it they would be able to tell me exactly what had been done. (AKA they would tell me how many surfaces needed to be repaired, etc.) The only reason I went to Dr. Laston is because he was part of our «group» and was listed as a pediatric dentist with years of experience. He was cold, rough, and arrogant. I wouldn’t recommend him to my worst enemy. We have now found a wonderful family dentist, Dr. Hui, who is patient, friendly, gentle… but that is another review.
