John is a terrific trainer! He’s kind and funny, but he knows just how to push me enough to make it challenging. I feel stronger and more fit each time I go.

This workout is great. John is fantastic at adapting each workout to my level. He has helped me work my way up through the levels of fitness. The best part is that he is still ensuring my workouts progress me towards my personal goals while keeping the exercise well rounded. I find it fantastic how I get out of the office, into the park, sweat and when I’m done I have a smile on my face. There hasn’t been a single time when I have felt embarrassed with my fitness.

I recommend this camp as a great way to get in shape. It’s a great work out and really keeps the energy up and targets different areas of the body for maximum results. There is a great variety of exercieses, so no boredom of the same routine. It’s a great way to push yourself and get to the next level but also a good way to kick start your current fitness routine.

John is great. FitCamp kicks my ass 3 times a week, but it’s done wonders for my stamina and cardio endurance. I’m not exactly sporty, but thanks to John and East Bay FitCamp I’ve felt confident doing some 5K’s and fun runs and stuff. I just did the Shortest Triathlon Ever in Emeryville after 3 weeks of classes and it felt great. Also, it’s affordable and outside in the park so I feel like I’m taking advantage of the glorious weather.
