Elise Gregoire, AuD – Blue Sky Hearing

I was referred to Blue Sky Hearing this week and had an exam conducted by Elise Gregoire, AuD. Everything about this place is just lovely. The décor, the friendly front desk and the two doctors at your service! Elise is smart, funny, patient and warm. There is no hard sales pitch. The other Audiologist on staff also gets fabulous reviews online (Susanna Storm, AudD.) It is so unusual to find a medical establishment that seems to shine on all levels. It turns out that Blue Sky is not contracted with my insurance and I will have to transfer care to another place that I’m a little leery of transferring to due to anecdotes I’ve heard about the place. Despite Elise having spent almost two hours of highly skilled professional time with me, she was extremely kind about the mistake and forwarded me my hearing results to bring to the new establishment, without charge. If you are looking for where to take your bruised ego when you realize that you really have to stop asking «Excuse me?» «Sorry, could you repeat that?» «WHAT???» bring your business to this great place. They really deserve it.

I am very thankful for Dr. Gregoire’s professionalism and the amazing experience I just had ordering a Resound Linx2 ITC, I tried 5 times with another audiologist for almost 6 months (ugh) and Dr. Gregoire got it PERFECT on the first try! I highly recommend!
The team at Resound is also amazing, they will do whatever it takes to get you the perfect fit for their «best in the business» technology! I am in sales, have kids, live a busy life and I just love the blue tooth, hands free phone, music streaming and most of all, the SOUND!
Blue Sky also has the best value you’ll find (by far)! She saved me hundreds of dollars! I have a very difficult ear to fit requiring the highest skill level and she made it look easy!

After trying two other hearing aid ‘dispensing’ companies, I was fortunate to find Dr. Gregoire.
Professional, informed, very personable, patient and utterly familiar with the equipment, she made my first successful venture into the world of hearing aid devices very comfortable.
The realization that one’s hearing is failing can be traumatic. My first two experiences with other ‘providers’ were simply awful. The staffs were under-​informed or simply incompetent and were simply shilling for one manufacturer or another.
Dr. Gregoire patiently put me through a battery of tests, sat down with me and discussed a number of possible solutions and together we arrived at the correct solution.
This is a ‘quality of life’ issue and thanks to the good doctor, my problem was solved to the greatest degree possible.

Dr. Gregoire is an articulate, friendly, well educated doctor of audiology and she ran me through the hearing test paces, analyzing my specific hearing deficiencies and determining how I could be helped. Yep, needed a hearing aid. I am so happy I sought treatment and she is top notch. She took time at the follow up appointment to fine tune the hearing aid and to explain its operation and maintenance. I am not familiar with other hearing specialists but I know you’ll get great service from Dr. Gregoire and the staff at the Whisper Hearing Center.

One thing that sets Elise Gregoire apart from the hearing aid «dispensers» I used to visit is that she is a Doctor of Audiology. This means that she’s fully informed about the physiology of hearing, about the physics of sound waves, and about the technical aspects of the dozens of types of hearing aids she deals with.
For me this has meant correct, up-​to-​date advice and the best solutions to problems. The problem is not just to hear better but to deal with challenges like hearing in a theater, keeping hearing aids clean and away from body moisture, and feeling good about myself. For this, there’s no substitute for a doctor, and Dr. Gregoire is tops in my book.
Appointments with her are something I look forward to, and I always come away feeling upbeat, well informed, and well taken care of.
