Doesn’t accept meal points. Coffee is either great or disgusting. Great sandwiches though.

Secret breakfast burrito spot on campus! Why do they have so many more options than Café Zeb in the law school?

Love their sandwiches(fried chicken one in particular) and salads. The line moves pretty fast though it may seem super long, and the wait for food is not bad at all. Great place to stop and get something quick to eat or a quick coffee!

Fifo is so ridiculous!!!!!I always use my own cup and order a small coffee in every café, I just need a half cup coffee everyday and I do not want to waste a paper cup. Since I only ask a half mug coffee, all café accept it and charge me a small coffee and give me a discount for using my own cup. But Fifo!!! Fifo is «classic». The staffs say I cannot use my own cup for a small coffee even I only ask a half cup! Because!!! They said I will add milk!!! How ridiculous??? Why I cannot add milk in my coffee? why? I need add a half cup milk to my coffee??? They said they can give me a half cup but they do not give me discount for using my own cup? It is not about money. I feel be offensive and very angry about it. 1. If people use their own cup, you have to give the discount if your stores have it. We like save trees, not only because the discount! 2. If people buy a coffee and do not be allowed to add milk, please rethink run a café. 3. If people ask a small coffee, just give us, because we only need a small one!!!

The Californian sandwich(vegetarian) was surprisingly good. It was around $ 6 before tax and consisted of veggies like avocado/cucumber/onion/tomato, as well as monterey jack cheese and chipotle mayo sauce. Also got some salad on the side! I think it was a generous amount of food for the price and a relatively healthy meal. The café itself looks quite modern and seems pretty busy, even during the summer. Lots of tables to eat at. I will definitely be coming here again.

Best on-campus food, in my opinion. No meal points, but Cal-1 Debit is okay. Good vegan options include the black bean quinoa burger and the falafel sandwich. Generous portions, and lots of packaged snacks and pre-made meals as well. Feels fancier than the Cal Dining sponsored eateries. Usually pretty crowded, lots of tables though!

So for whatever reason, I have been craving a breakfast burrito the entire week. At least 3 times this week, I have been searching on BART for places that had breakfast burritos between the Downtown Berkeley BART station and Memorial Stadium(the final, pedestrian part of my commute). Aside from a few places that around downtown(with meh overall reviews), my search was futile. So finally, this morning, I decided to check out the menu of FIFO@Haas, the café/restaurant in the School of Business here on campus. And what is on the top of the breakfast menu? Breakfast Burrito! Hot diggity we may have a winner. Apparently, this venue does not come up on my orginal search because(1) It has switched management sometime the past couple of years which came with a minor(but significant) name change and menu revamp and(2) The categories in which this establishment(as its previous incarnation) had not been fully updated. Hence, I thought it was only appropriate for a new business entry that established a «clean slate» to separate the two distinct entities.(I could be corrected by the higher powers @ Unilocal,so who knows). Anyway, I definitely enjoyed my freshly made breakfast burrito, complete with egg, chorizo, breakfast potatos, chedder and salsa(salsa came on the side). They have a relatively small breakfast menu(in terms of hot food) — the other two options are a bagel breakfast sandwich and a three egg scramble. HOWEVER, they have a full line of café-style coffee selections made from fair trade, shade-grown and organic coffee beans, and a full selection of house-made pastries. Apparently this is the under the same management now as the folks Strada(and Café Zeb?), so the baristas I would assume know their stuff. It also looks like the drink prices are slightly lower than what would be found just off-campus. All in all, I had a good experience here and would certainly venture back here for another breakfast burrito, coffee and pastries, or even over for lunch for a healthy lunch option. This felt like a win for me.
