MY son Jeff Armstrong, wanted to become a resident at Harrison House for over 2 years. Finally, in January, 2014 he made it. I was overjoyed for him. He really wanted to get his life going on the right track. He felt he had good stuff left to contribute and so did I. He battled alcoholism with a vengeance and when he made it to Harrison House I thought he had made it. Not so. I want the director at HH to know what happened to him after his bed was given away and Jeff had the OK of the director to be away overnight. HIS BED WAS GIVEN AWAY AND HE WAS ON THE STREETS AGAIN. I was called tonight by the emergency room doctor at San Leandro Hospital telling me that Jeff had passed away a little while earlier due to pneumonia. Thank you!
