I was very disappointed. I called her and left a message. She never called me back. I called her back 4 days later thinking maybe she was gone. She informed me she isn’t taking any new clients right now and when I asked her for recommendations she couldn’t come up with any.

I went to Michele for some voice lessons and she was fabulous! She helped me to be a better communicator by teaching me how to control my vioce when I get nervous, and even how to deal with being nervous in the first place. I’m the least musical person in the world, but I really enjoyed my classes and was able to pick up on a few musical learnings along the way. I started doing a few singing lessons near the end of my time with Michele, and I really loved those as well. I would highly highly recommend her for any sort of voice/communication/singing lessons — she was really great!

Michèle is a gentle, funny, patient, miracle worker. Who sings like an angel.
I never EVER thought I could actually learn to sing harmony, in a group. But after a handful of her Wednesday night drop-in harmony classes I am finding by part and singing it happily and with more confidence than I ever imagined I could have.
Even in the informal group context, Michèle’s friendly, easy-to-understand tips and pointers have done wonders for how I use my voice, and how I feel about it.

I had never worked with a music teacher before, and I was a little nervous about it. Michele is so easy to feel safe and relaxed with, that I forgot about my nervousness. She has all kinds of great information about finding your true and best voice, something I never thought possible. I have always had a breathless, high nasely voice, and thought I was stuck with it. I can see even in one session with Michele that I have so much more potential than I thought. Whether I use it to sing or to speak without sounding like Minnie Mouse anymore, I am so excited about Michele’s ability to help me develop that voice that people will take seriously!

Michèle Voillequé is a fantastic music teacher for children. My 8-year-old has made impressive progress in voice and piano in a very short time, and I can’t wait to see how are she goes! Relationships are everything in musical training, and I was so pleased by the way that they immediately clicked. I’ve heard great things about Michèle from some of her adult students, as well.
