This space, there for many years, was recently re-opened freshly beautified and given a simple but delightful menu of incredibly inexpensive delicious gourmet pizza and a vast and fascinating array of delectable baked goods including chocolate bread pudding in a jar and met-in-your mouth delicious filled croissants. I can’t praise this place too much because it exceeds all expectations. Hurry in to try their specialty thin crust pizza par excellance. You many eat inside or out, Great location too. just around the corner from College Ave. Elmwood District.

No longer willing to crawl along the line for 30 minutes at Gordos, I am now a big fan and regular for the pizza at the new Nabolom’s. Great people and food!

Cute little bakery with vegetarian pizza. Service is top notch, I mean girl at cash register was so friendly that I was this close to ask her out. I could barely stop myself, only thing that helps was«I’m too old for this stuff» But humor aside this is a very nice, very affordable place vegetarian friendly place. Pizza slices are very cheap only $ 3 and it’s enough for your average person. I ate 2, but honestly 1 would be enough. Drinks kinda pricey $ 3 each but it’s not your average drinks, very unique sugarless ice drinks. Vegans and health nuts would love it! I got 2 slices of pizza and a drink for about $ 10 total. I think they gave me a bit more than 2 slices. Pizza was not very tasty, a bit too dry to my taste. But I love that it was vegetarian. Can’t really screw that up. Then I decided to try chocolate chip cookie. It was dry as well but with nice texture. There’re some flaws but this place deserves local attention. Very good.

The people who work here are really nice, top notch servers. The food is dang good. When I first walked up to the cash register, I was having a bad day. But I was greeted by a cheery employee who had a lot of great energy. This is when my day began to truly unfold. She asks what I want, and as I gaze towards the nonchalant stacks of baked goods, my eyes fall upon a truly sublime sight. A croissant; perfectly flaky, bellisimo! Mwah! A single croissant takes three days to make. I just had to have it. And this is where things get interesting. As I silently motion towards the morsel of my newfound affection, my server asks how my day has been going with a genuine interest unmatched by most participants in these kinds of fleeting connections. I was flabbergasted, and had to give her a wordless two thumbs up in order to accurately convey my satisfaction. So she hands me this flaky goodness. Delight! What a treat. I step backwards as I head out the door, surprising her with a genuine thank you. My day was made.

Hooray! Open again! I saw a parking space as I zoomed past today, did a U-turn and went in for a perfectly yummy slice of gourmet pizza and perfect coffee. Only cost $ 5 plus .50 in the meter! Woo hoo indeed!

Great coffee + danishes, just wished they would keep serving coffee in the afternoons! I went in twice(around 1−2pm) to get a cup of coffee and they said they didn’t have any?!

Pizza is amazing, service is super friendly, and they did a great job with the interior. My only concern is that delicious pizza is too close and convenient to my house now!

Was very happy to hear Nabolom is back. I always loved the independent funky atmosphere of the place and had a few bakery favorites. However went in today and was met at the register by a yawn(ok it happens to us all) and asked if they were still serving coffee and just kinda got a no and shake of the head. I guess they stop serving coffee sometime in the afternoon. Heard the pizza is great so I’m sure I’ll be back to try it but would be nice to have a more welcoming atmosphere(and coffee… maybe your staff needs it as well!)

Sasha Crehan is the baker with the mostest, the cheese danish is killer . I would eat here everyday if I could. Just the best and the place is downright friendly.

Nabalom bakery I loved this place and used to come all the time so I was rather sad when they closed, but very excited when they opened back up! I came here Friday morning and I was very happy to see they had many of the same pastries as before. I ordered a cherry cheese Danish and a small coffee and the service was polite and friendly so five stars for that. However I was a little disappointed in the Danish mostly just because it seemed undercooked. Instead of a buttery flaky pastry it was dense and chewy and the cheese filling had a grainy texture that wasn’t very appealing. I will definitely be back to try other pastries, and as always their coffee is fantastic.

I’m so glad Nabolom reopened. Their Hamentashen is my favorite. The pizza is a wonderful addition – colorful and full of flavor. The gal behind the counter was very nice to chat with, but I did feel a bit concerned when she touched her fingers to the inside of her nose. I was thankful I already had eaten. Also, I hope she washed her hands afterward.

The service is great, the people are very nice and sweet. The pizza is the best, awsome. They make a different pizza topping pizza everyday. The jalapeño cheese scone is yummy, everything is made fresh. And the homemade hot sauce is delicious. You have to check them out.

Love the location! Friendly! Great food! I love the pizza. Yummy sourdough crust, and fresh cheeses. The spicy green pesto sauce is delicious. The pastries are great too… we love the cinnamon twist, and even the bran muffins are tasty.

The Nabolom is OPEN again! Been eating the pastries here for years. Kind of a neighborhood mainstay, I was saddened when I heard it was closing, but voila! one of the former employees I think reopened it with some of my old favorites, and some new stuff too! I am withholding one star though, because they are on that darn collective Berkeley schedule and are closed on three days a week! I wish they could be my regular«grab a coffee and pastry on my way to work» spot, but I guess collectives don’t work that way. Anyway, I’ll be there whenever they are open. Some old school Berkeley flavor there. :)

I’m so, so glad they’re back. They’ve re-done the interior so that it’s much brighter and there’s more seating. Prices are fair and the pastries are phenomenal(especially the cinnamon twists). I had one of their pizzas for the first time and was really impressed. So close to being a Cheese Board quality, but with more traditional toppings. They sell out of their most popular items(e.g. chocolate croissants), so if you have your heart set on something specific, come before 10:00am. Nabolom’s current hours are 7:00am — 7:00pm Weds through Sun.

Yay! Nabolom is reopened and it feels so good. Happened to had just read the berkeleyside article when I found myself needing to swing by that side of Berkeley for some errands. Stopped in to say hi to the new owners and grab a couple of slices of their daily pizza. It was a Roma tomato, goat cheese, onion and parsley combo. Delicious!!! Will definitely be back. A much brighter space than I remember. Looking forward to coming back to try their other offerings which I peeked at, including scones, cookies, lemon tarts, bread… ahhh carbs, I love you.
