Salveson Michael Rolfing

I don’t think Michael uses/​reads Unilocal so I will be totally honest here…
His work is the beyond expectations EVERY single time. No exceptions. Just to give you an example: I live in Anchorage Alaska. I fly down 2 – 3 tines per year and get 3 sessions each time. Which cost $ 350 EACH session. no typos here. Also, I don’t have any chronic pain or debilitating physical restrictions that would motivate me do do so. His work allows me to make progress as a human being. I also do therapy and acupuncture etc but this is what actually makes everything stick. Make no mistake that we live and integrate though a physical body… better get it fine tuned:) get Rolfed by someone amazing.

It’s a shame Unilocal only let’s you rate up to 5 stars. Michael Salveson deserves more. The first time I went to see him, I was somewhat nervous as I heard that Rolfing can be painful and of questionable value. I am now a flag waving fan of the technique and Michael’s practice in particular. He operates out of a beautiful/​professional studio in the Berkeley Hills. Originally a student of Ida Rolf, he has clearly mastered Rolfing and complimentary techniques including CranialSacral. Unlike a good deep tissue massage or a good yoga class, the positive benefits of his work stays with you for weeks and months. The sessions build on each other, and are truly effective at restoring my body’s natural alignment and balance. With ailments ranging from posture issues affecting my neck and back, digestion/​internal organ-​related, or limited flexibility of various limbs/​joints, Michael’s deeply intuitive therapy allows me to live a healthier, happier, pain-​free, and active life. I can honestly say I am taller, stronger, and more balanced, physically and emotionally, because of his healing work. The only problem is that he is so popular it is sometimes difficult to get an appointment, and he often closes his practice to new clients so he can provide better service to those lucky enough to already be on the list. I truly wish that you are one day gifted the opportunity to be healed by this man.
