Had a few minutes to burn before work and decided to get coffee here instead of Starbucks. First off, the lady working there(didn’t catch her name, she had dreadlocks) was so helpful/friendly! I asked for a cappuccino blender with nonfat milk and she offered a flavoring. I opted for sugar free vanilla and started making my order. Once it was ready, she asked me to taste a little from he blender in a separate cup before selling me the drink! Needless to say, the coffee is amazing and it wasn’t too sweet(I’m a HUGE stickler for this). It’s blended to be fluffy, not just icy. Great place! Also, they have fruit smoothies with red bull which is cool.

I just started working in Berkeley and am still unfamiliar with the city. Immediately when I got off BART I saw Scooter’s and thought to myself«Well atleast I can be lost and confused with some coffee and a pastry.» It has been 2 months and I go there typically 2 or 3 times a week(I would go more but I am trying to save money) and the guy with the awesome moustache, and the girl who normally is there are always in a good mood(I forgot their names). The coffee is good quality, the pastries always taste fresh, and the price is good for everything. This will definitely be one of my go to spots for as long as I work in Berkeley.

Moustache is the bee’s knees. He makes em good and he makes em fast. His blended drinks have the proper ice to stuff ratio. Plus, stache. Very convenient local, way better beans than study like Pete’s and Starbucks, and not overly sugar drinks. Love it. So needed before going to campus.

Excellent customer service and great coffee. Shout out to the manager as I watched him do a kind act this morning while maintaining efficient service and keeping all customers happy. Kindness deserves recognition! Will definitely be returning.

Quite possibly the worst tasting coffee i’ve ever had. Tasted like boiled garbage water. Staff is super nice and it’s in a convenient location, but I really wish Peets didn’t move out because it was decent coffee and this stuff didn’t even taste like anything edible. What a shame.

I LOVETHISCOFFEE! I’m talking about just their plain old Americano. It is smooth & rich and has no bitter aftertaste. I love this coffee. Their customer service is good & it’s nice to deal with pleasant people

This little kiosk is located in the downtown Berkeley BART station. I noticed they took out the Peet’s a week or so ago(eh, no love lost) and was intrigued when something called Scooters stood in its place. I finally decided to try it today. The girl at the counter was very friendly and happy to help me. I ordered a blended mocha with almond milk(what my boyfriend calls a «coffee milkshake»). I’ve had my share of these types of coffee and this one is good. Not disgustingly sweet like a Sbux frapp but not as sweet as a Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf blended. I dig it. I’ll be back to try the hot coffee and the iced.
