I am giving two stars because the barista who was working there just now was horrible! She was obviously too intoxicated/high to be working! Unprofessional. I ordered two drinks: grande upside down caramel macchiato and a tall iced white chocolate mocha w/soy. She starts giggling because she wrote too big on the grande cup, which at first didn’t seem suspicious. She then proceeded to pump sugar about TEN times at least! Next thing you know, she pours milk, so I reminded her that I asked for it upside down. She laughs and starts over and then FORGETSTHEICE and proceeds to pour out some of my drink(that’s a portion of espresso that’s going down the drain that I’m paying for!!!) After adding the ice, she seemed dazed and didn’t stop putting in the caramel, there was probably a pound of caramel in my drink. She then OVERCHARGES me, by charging me for a Venti, which I, of course, corrected her almost immediately. Not to mention my friend is saying that her iced mocha doesn’t tastes like it normally does, it’s too sweet. I wouldn’t past that employee to have filled the tall halfway with pumps of sugar. Since she was the only one working, I didn’t have anyone to complain to, nor did she have a name tag on. You might ask why I give two stars… well, she managed to make some sort of drink for us given whatever condition she was in. Never again!

I come here often since I work in the area, and I’m not really sure how I feel about it. There’s a Peet’s around the corner, but I’m a Starbucks girl through and through, so I wait in the long lines and put up with the slow service here. Some of the people who work here are really nice, so I try to understand that they’re short handed(they’re training new people all the time it seems) and trying their best. The coffee depends on who made it for you and can be potentially really great or mediocre. They also never heat the pastries here like every other Starbucks, which is disappointing.

This Starbucks is located inside Safeway. The line here can get a bit long, and the service isn’t the fastest, as it doesn’t have as many employees like a regular Starbucks store. The quality of the drink is just the same as any other Starbucks, and the seating area isn’t bad for a grocery store location.

i love the people who work at starbucks. they have great healthcare and incredible training. that said, i loath the product. i have had to rely on starbucks while working abroad and have found their coffee to be astringent and hardly palatable. they seem to follow McDonald’s on their interpretation of proper temperature. the coffee is typically scalding and has no flavor. side note: i was in Bangkok recently and starbucks was the best coffee i could find. it’s all relative. i payed about twice as much for a cup there, which is ironic because everything generally costs about a third of what you’d pay in the states.

This is the dirtiest Starbucks I have ever visited. All the trash cans are full and the tables are dirty. The windows are dirty too. Gross!!!
