Ok, writing about this situation probably is not helping *me* or my husband in this situation, but i do believe in the power of making informed decisions no matter how challenging the rental market is in San Francisco. All of my previous reviews are definitely legit and while I definitely understand there are pressures and challenges in owning a building in SF I’m not sure how our building owner(Danny) is making it any easier for himself or us. My husband was just *yelled*(what adult still flipsout and yells without prompt?) at by Danny for trying to add me as a tenant, with him insisting we’re trying to «screw him over.» I am honestly not sure how we are doing that by always paying rent on time, taking really good care of our apartment and emptying the garbage downstairs when it gets full. When I put in maintenance requests they are rejected, and if I happen to mail out rent check(that has both our names on it, by the way) it gets returned to us. I am really at a loss. Danny told my husband that he would pay us to move out, which is pretty crazy considering we really haven’t done anything wrong… This is the kind of stuff made of nightmares, and honestly there are times when we feel uncomfortable in our own apartment because of him.(Like he is trying to screw US over actually) I suppose it’s not illegal to be rude, but it isn’t very good karma and really seems unnecessary given we are all adults. I would love to have a calm discussion with Danny himself, but that doesn’t seem possible since he won’t even acknowledge my rent money(and screams/yells at my husband) All well, the next few years will be interesting given Bay Area is too expensive to buy or rent in. Looks like we’re both stuck with each other Danny! Maybe we can grab a beer or coffee sometime to commiserate over it.

Évaluation du lieu : 1 San Francisco, CA
I live in a building on Bush St owned by Sugarplum and managed by Citywide. The rent here is not cheap and for that we get a building that is filthy. The common areas(lobby, stairways, windowsills, laundry room) do not appear to be cleaned on even a monthly basis(and it should be done weekly!). I would complain to the building manager, but we don’t have one… in violation of SF law for buildings of this size. Nice.
