I had a great experience with UC electronics. I rented a projector and a laptop everything worked beautifully and I have no complaints. Not only will I recommend them to anyone else but I can assure you I’ll use them again in the future.

Sam is incredibly friendly, accommodating, and helpful.
I had some extreme circumstances and he was gracious, helpful, and ultimately forgiving.
One of those vendors that make it a pleasure to work with them. Grounded and customer focused.

I have a projector that stopped working. I brought it in to UC Electronics. After I described the problem, the fellow behind the desk told me that he thought that the issue was probably that the after-​market bulb I was using was overheating (something he said he had encountered frequently), and that my best bet was to buy a new bulb directly from the manufacturer. I am going to do that. My comment is 1) that the way he discussed the problem was very professional and confidence-​inspiring, and 2) that the free advice he gave me was entirely for my benefit, not his.

What a great find – this company is truly awesome! I needed to rent a projection screen and searched numerous sites and contacted several businesses – and while a few of them had fairly comparable prices, NONE of them were East Bay businesses with regular hours, where you could call up and/​or visit a physical store and speak to someone. (No offense to the multitude of online vendors who can deliver quality products and services for a good price, but sometimes it’s nice to go old-​school and call or drop in on your own schedule to an actual store and speak to someone before making a decision.) UC Electronics was accessible, informative, flexible and gave me a great price without a lot of hassle of trying to sell me a package I didn’t want. They gave me a quick rundown on the equipment, made sure I knew how to operate it and that I had the necessary cords and speakers; They also gave me an extra day at no charge and didn’t make a big issue of the return time (don’t know if I should say that). It was quality equipment and everything worked great! Couldn’t ask for more.

At the last minute on a Saturday, I needed to drastically rent a digital projector for an event happening the very next day (Sunday). This shop normally is not open on the weekends, but they understood my panic and met me at their store any way. They were very thorough on their instructions on how to use it and they clearly came to my rescue! Thanks U C Electronics!

Recently reserved some equipment for rent. It was ready on time and ran flawlessly while I had it. They were very solicitous in ensuring that I had what I needed and that everything went well.
My only quibbles are that they charged my card as soon as I made the reservation rather than when I picked up the item, and that sometimes they don’t answer the phone. (However, I do feel confident that they would have returned my call if I had left a message.)
Recommended. I definitely would use them again.

I use UC Electronics to rent an LCD projector (having never used one before) to do a slide show for my mother’s memorial. Sam provided excellent service and support to make sure I had all the equipment and information I needed. After the memorial, I wasn’t able to get the equipment back to the shop on time, but these guys very kindly didn’t charge me for the extra day. The whole experience with them helped to reduce stress around my mom’s death.

By «someone else credit card» he means the company card for the business I work for.

I rented a projector and laptop from UC Electronics for a party/​movie night. I got clear instructions on how to use the equipment, and it was a very easy set up. Our movie looked stunning and very professional! They were very helpful and the rental was reasonably priced.

My son broke the screen on his I phone. After calling half a dozen places UC Electronics was the most helpful and economic. Later that same day the phone was ready! Everyone else was telling a few days and 100 dollars. The cost was $ 65! In a few words I just want to say thanks for fast and great service. Highly recommended!

This place saved my life! My old Verizon LG phone went dead, inside charger battery really damaged. I needed all my numbers off this phone! I bought a new upgrade iphone but couldn’t transfer numbers over. Verizon specialists who are also getting 5 stars from me tried, everything they could think of to get the phone to work, but to no avail. They recommended UC Electronics. I went there, left my phone, they said they would try. Well it worked, they got the phone charged up some how and I was able to get the numbers off it. Many thanks, guys, you deserve 5 stars!!!

I’m so glad I found this place! I needed a multimedia projector for my Michael Jackson party and first I called The Looking Glass, which charges $ 99 for a projector. Thank god I kept shopping around because UC Electronics rents that same projector for $ 69 and the guy let me keep it for the whole weekend. He was extremely helpful, the projector worked great (we also got a huge, awesome 6×6 screen with its own tripod), and everything was really easy to use, even for people who are technologically challenged like myself. This thing MADE my party. I can’t express how amazing it was to project the «Thriller» video on this massive screen! Seriously, if any of you ever want to go all out for a party, call up UC Electronics! They’ll hook you up with some great products at a truly unbeatable price.

I was looking for a digital projector to rent… and I was coming up short everywhere I looked. Then I found this place. The owner tested it out for me, gave me a good daily rate and it worked perfectly. Then I finally joined the 21^st century and decided to buy a wireless router for my home. He had a great price on that too, but they go out of stock regularly. It took 2 weeks for them to come back in, but he called me when it did, walked me thru all the set up issues, and I’m wired!
He opens starting at noon, and not always then, but he gives you his cell# so you call in emergencies. Good stuff!

You have to go here just to see the antique electronics stuff they have in the window. This is an interesting store that I have passed by on many occasion and once popped in. I didn’t by anything, but it IS interesting.
