Class of 2012! Not-​so-​recent graduate and I already miss the culture of Berkeley.
Berkeley is where I found myself and where I met my lifelong friends. Everyone here has amazing drive, an infectious passion to change the world, AND actually act on those passions! Students can sometimes be overly arrogant but that’s also because every news report in the world almost always ranks Berkeley as the No.1 public university in the world.
I thrived (and was also humbled) in this extremely academic environment. I appreciated the competitive edge everyone had and found that I truly enjoyed learning for learning’s sake. Most of the professors are inspiring and have contributed to my current worldviews — Robert Reich is one of them!
Beautiful campus! Trees and grass everywhere so students to study or take a breather in between classes.
Despite rising tuition costs, Berkeley certainly offers top-​notch education! I can’t express my gratitude enough for having the opportunity to graduate from a world-​renowned university.
